Pros:

Very comfortable bed and clean room in a good area of dusseldorf

Cons:

The noise of the nearby tram is quite strong, untill quite late in the night and early in the morning, so if you re a light sleeper thats planning a long night of sleep take your earplugs. For the rest its a quiet and safe area

Die Lage.

Cons:

Wir haben ein Dreibettzimmer mit zwei Personen gebucht und im Anschluss eine dritte Person über Booking hinzugebucht. Hier wurde der Preis über den Chat kommuniziert. Dabei wurden 20€ pro Nacht angegeben. Die Summe übersteigt nun den eigentlichen Preis des Zimmers wie auf der Homepage des Hotels angegeben.
Zusätzlich sollten wir die zusätzlich angefallenen Kosten bar aufs Bett legen, weil eine Klärung über Booking verweigert wurde! Eine Zahlung an der Rezeption war nicht möglich.

Auch im Nachhinein wird alles gedreht wie das Hotel es braucht.

Nochmal würde ich hier keine Nacht verbringen, wenn man sich so bereichern möchte und die Transparenz nicht gewährleistet!!!

Preisgünstige Unterkunft in City-, und Altstadnähe
Pros:

Der Self Check-In hat sehr gut und ohne Probleme geklappt. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Die Rezeption ist, wie in der Beschreibung steht, nicht besetzt, aber die sehr freundliche Dame von der Hauswirtschaft beantwortet gerne Fragen und ist sehr hilfsbereit, in der Zeit wo sie vor Ort ist. Das Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Gastronomiebetriebe. Auch Supermärkte sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Mehrere Straßenbahnen und Busse fahren unweit vom Hotel Stern, so dass man überall gut und schnell hin kommt. Wer laufen mag ist auch in 15 - 20 Minuten an der Kö und in der Altstadt, oder mit der Tram in ca. 4 - 5 Minuten.

Für den Preis und eine Übernachtung ist die Unterkunft absolut in Ordnung. Luft nach oben gibt es natürlich immer.
Pros:

Der Check-in hat problemlos funktioniert, auch wenn die E-Mail mit dem Code für den Schlüsselsafe erst recht spät angekommen ist. Das Zimmer war sauber, Handtücher waren vorhanden und die Betten waren für eine Nacht bequem und vollkommen ausreichend.

Cons:

Verbesserungsbedarf gibt es beim Check-out. Hierzu haben wir keinerlei Informationen erhalten weder, wie der Check-out funktioniert, noch bis wann das Zimmer verlassen werden muss. Das führte leider zu Missverständnissen, da bei Booking.com eine Check-out-Zeit bis 23:59 Uhr angegeben war und nicht bis 11:00 Uhr morgens.

Außerdem sind die Wände sehr hellhörig. Man konnte die Gespräche aus dem Nachbarzimmer nahezu vollständig mithören. Auch die Türschlösser wirken bereits recht abgenutzt, wodurch das Auf- und Abschließen etwas mühsam war. Ein Aufzug wäre natürlich angenehm gewesen, allerdings war uns vor der Buchung bewusst, dass keiner vorhanden ist und irgendwie lande ich ohnehin immer im obersten Stockwerk. Das scheint mittlerweile einfach mein Schicksal zu sein.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und Lage ist super
Pros:

Der Schriftkontakt mit dem Hotelpersonal war total freundlich und hilfsbereit und sehr entgegenkommend mit der Zeit des Late Check Outs.

Der Self Check-in hat super geklappt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.
Die Lage ist super, man ist zentral, findet eigentlich immer in der Nähe einen Parkplatz und kann vom Hotel aus überall gut hin kommen

Cons:

Durch die zentrale Lage und den Fenstern zur Straße hin, ist es etwas laut, wenn man das Fenster offen hat. Aber das hat uns nicht groß gestört.

Lage zum Zentrum

Cons:

Wir waren im Keller untergebracht. Das Zimmer hat leider sehr modrig gestunken. Sauberkeit bzw. das Badezimmer ist jetzt auch nicht so wünschenswert gewesen, der Duschvorhang war unten extrem eklig und dreckig. Das eine Bett war einfach mitten auf dem Laken kreisrund nass und somit konnte man dort nicht schlafen.
