The food is good in the restaurant. I had duck and was yummy and breakfast was good. The staffs are friendly

Cons:

We were in Room 4 and the hot water in the shower took more than 5 minutes to heat up . There were no towel railing and no hooks in the bathroom . And hardly any shelves for clothes in the cupboard. We stayed 2 nights so it is a point to note if you stay longer. Whoever is the designer of the rooms must be a non traveller .

We had a excellent stay and can’t wait to return
Pros:

We loved the room spotless looked like it had been Newley refurbished staff were very nice Adam is a credit to the hotel very friendly and professional. Breakfast was amazing catered for me very well as I am gluten intolerant every thing was cooked fresh and very tasty

Cons:

Bar area could have been a bit warmer but weather was exceptionally bad the time we stayed

Pros:

This place was marvelous! My only regret is only booking one day here. The exterior looks like an adorable older home, while the rooms have been upgraded and are modern. The people who work here were marvelous, the food was amazing.. everything was perfect.

Perfect stopover
Pros:

It felt cosy yet opulent. Decor was tasteful. All staff were excellent. Parking was easy.

No bath mat. I’m sure they’d have got me one if I’d have asked…

A lovely and charming hotel in Aberdeen
Pros:

Ferry hill House was a real surprise to us. It sits in a somewhat large garden approached by a sweeping drive. Rooms here are definitely large enough for two people and luggage. We had a room on the second floor. The food is very good here, and prepared from a menu when you come down for breakfast. There is a sort of neighborhood feel here as it really is a hotel, and frequented by more than the guests. The staff could not have been more helpful. You arrive and check in at the bar on the right of the lobby. Our room was very quiet, and everything was nice and clean. We definitely felt we had made a perfect choice booking here. Great value for price.

There is nothing not to like at Ferryhill!

Disregarding the restaurant experience, we had a lovely stay.
Pros:

The room was spacious and beautiful. Thanks to the staff for the Anniversary Heart in rose petals laid out on the bed for our arrival. We loved the breakfast every morning- lots of variety cooked to order and great service. Very nice Pub on premises.

Cons:

We had reservations for the Sunday Roast and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The roast portions were tiny and terrible parsnips that gave two of us diarrhea. Also, there were 9 children that were allowed to run wild through the restaurant, causing loud disturbances.

Gut gelegenes Hotel mit modernen, grossen Zimmern.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war vielfältig. Das Hotel liegt zwar nicht unmittelbar im Zentrum, dieses ist aber gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Ausserdem gibt es in der Nähe einen Bus in die Stadt.

Cons:

Alles war gut.
