A detailed review of our experience at the Grand Lodge!
Pros:

The Grand Lodge at Peak 7 is in a BEAUTIFUL location. My husband and I stayed for a week in late June. My forthcoming comments are not intended as criticism, but just explaining what worked and didn't work for us and my observations. First, the kitchen was fully stocked with all kitchenware needed and saved us a lot of money by being able to make breakfasts and lunches in the room. We had a one bedroom unit that sleeps 4. The bedroom was quite dark, but we didn't spend much time in there. The bathroom was split into 2 sections, one had 2 sinks and a large bathtub with a thin adjoining door to the other half that had 1 sink, the toilet, and a shower. Ideally, BOTH sides would have toilets, but it was fine. We had a fireplace which we did not use, air conditioning, which we turned off to open up all the windows for fresh air, and a balcony overlooking the barbecue area and putting green area. We enjoyed watching people barbecue in the evenings, but were most impressed sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning watching the staff clean the barbecues. Those workers take their jobs seriously and scraped, brushed and cleaned the grills every single morning. The area off our balcony was mostly quiet except for one 3 year old girl who had a very long tantrum on the putting green.
Our room had an adjoining door to the room next to it. Be aware....dogs are allowed on/in the property. I absolutely love dogs, so felt extreme sorrow for the dog on the other side of our adjoining room who cried and barked nonstop as soon as the guests left it alone in the room, which was often. The poor dog was clearly scared and we were the ones to listen to it. I'm not sure how this can be addressed, but there you have it.
Our room was very clean and when we checked in, we were told that "housekeeping would be on Tuesday", which we actually took literally....housekeeping would be on Tuesday. However, it actually meant that we would receive multiple texts telling us we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door and housekeeping needed to get in. On one morning, we had the "Do not disturb" sign on the door, and housekeeping knocked on the door, waking us up, until we answered!!! And, no, it was not on Tuesday. I then texted the number that continuously texted us to let them know we did NOT need housekeeping, only to continue to receive more texts saying housekeeping wanted to come in.
We were not traveling with children so we did not use any of the family amenities but the things they had for families with children looked fun and I'm sure my children would have enjoyed it them. The pool area was spilling over with children having fun. There is one larger jacuzzi that is just for people over 21, but it is right next to the area with all the kids. If I could change one thing, it would be to have an adult only POOL in a completely separate area. We ended up not using the pool area much since we were looking for a more relaxing experience.
We did not go to the spa, but we did go to the grotto. It was dark and relaxing. Using the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was a very relaxing experience. All the locker room amenities hooked to it were really nice, too.
We used the gym quite a bit while there. The gym was clean, bright and had everything we needed! It was super nice. If you are lucky, the firefighters may show up to work out while you are there. :)
I absolutely LOVED being able to take the gondola to town and to the alpine slide and roller coaster for free. I really wish it ran until at least 11 pm. There are 2 different free shuttles you can take to get around, but we didn't use them.
Overall, a great stay with only a few things we would change.

Escape to the mountains
Pros:

We have vacationed at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 for 14 years in a row. We went not expecting to purchase, but fell in love with Breckenridge, The Grand Lodge and the staff.
Every year we return and the experience is always so amazing. If you want to get away and experience a lovely mountain town, this is the place to do so.

Pros:

Excellent place to stay with free shuttle (when gondolas are shut down) service and amazing views!! The Epic park prices are way too high in my opinion for the average families, but the Alpine slide is really fun.

Awesome resort for the entire family
Pros:

The location, views, amenities, and the property itself are top notch. We are a couple in our mid 60s and we thoroughly enjoyed our seven night stay. There is so much to do on the property. Pools, hot tubs, bat and restaurant, free gondola ride into town, forest hiking, etc. We plan on coming back.

Great stay with multiple families and kids!
Pros:

Three families stayed together in a three-bedroom condo at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7. Both the adults and kids had so much fun with the spacious indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, arcade room, movie theater, and simulator room. It was wonderful to have a free shuttle to downtown and the Troll hike. Everything was incredibly clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils needed to make meals. The mattresses were very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and kind. I strongly recommend this place for a family getaway or staycation!

Nice Amenities but Horrible Room
Pros:

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay. I want to start by saying the amenities are wonderful — the pool, hot tubs, grotto, and the ski-in/ski-out location are fantastic.
However, the room itself was very small, dated, and uncomfortable. We stayed in room 2208C in the north building, which is extremely far from the main amenities. The walk back from the pool was so long that my daughter only wanted to swim the first night because walking all the way back to the room in a wet swimsuit was miserable.
Our view was also very disappointing, overlooking a trash collection area with trucks beeping all day. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, although staff did bring us an egg-crate mattress topper after we complained. The room and blinds were also very dusty, and we all suffered from allergies during our stay.
The bathroom is tiny, and I honestly don’t understand how this room is advertised for four people. There were only three of us, and it still felt cramped. The room included a couch and a very small chair that didn’t recline, plus TV trays but no actual table where a family could sit and play games or eat comfortably.
This definitely feels like a resort designed for people who plan to spend all day skiing or at the pool and very little time in the room itself. We chose this property because friends with timeshares had wonderful things to say, so we were surprised by our experience. We were even told that perhaps we were given one of the worst rooms because we booked through Breckenridge.com rather than as timeshare owners. Considering we paid over $600 per night, we expected much nicer accommodations.
When we asked about changing rooms, we were told the resort was completely full, which seemed difficult to believe given the nearly empty parking garage and poor snow conditions during our stay.
