The views are stunning. There is a dedicated parking area with cover which was great when we thought hail might be on its way. The building and surrounds are petty and it matches the images. The room was quite spacious. We had the Michaelangelo room.
While we were there the pool was out of action so we didn't get to use it once. One of the main reasons we chose this property was for the pool for the kids.
Multiple lights were out in our room including the bathroom so it was very dark and hard with 2 kids and when we raised this with the front desk they told us they weren't actually lights. But it's not hard to stand on a chair and take a photo of the "not lights" and see that they definitely were and just had blown bulbs. So my husband (an electrician by trade) just relocated one remaining working bulb into the bathroom ourselves so we could see. The bathtub had no plug so we couldn't run a small bath for the kids. When we asked for one they said one guest one time flooded the bathroom so they couldn't provide one, then gave us one from the kitchen and said good luck. It didn't fit of course so we resulted to wrapping a plastic bag around the drain filter to makeshift our own temporary plug.
An overnight passing storm took the buildings water out of action (not their fault) but it meant we couldn't wash bottles or do much else for my 1 year old that day so had to go into town for the day (40mins away), they then shut the restaurant that night on the property as a result and sent us to town for dinner. When we asked if the place they booked us for dinner took card for payment they said yes, so we didn't get cash out earlier in the day. We should have but just didn't think. When we got to dinner they did not take card. They had no internet at all. Luckily they let us eat still, we then had to do an almost 1 hour round trip at 9pm at night to the nearest ATM to get cash and come back and pay, with a 1 yo and 3 yo in tow. In hindsight we would have been better just making our own reservation in a bigger town as the town 5 minutes from the property has almost nothing in it, just this one small restaurant.
Wir hatten ein wunderbares Zimmer mit einer traumhaften Aussicht, die Unterkunft an und für sich ist sehr schön, ein uraltes Gebäude, welches wunderschön gemacht ist. Die Lage und der Pool waren ebenfalls perfekt. Das Frühstück war super fein und das Personal sehr nett. Es ist ein kleiner toskanischer Traum und wir kommen sehr gerne bald wieder.
Das Bett war für unsere Verhältnisse ein bisschen hart.

Trovo che il personale presente non sia del tutto sufficiente rispetto alle esigenze della struttura. Il posto è molto bello e ha sicuramente un grande potenziale, ma ho percepito alcune mancanze nella gestione generale e nell’organizzazione, aspetti che con qualche attenzione in più potrebbero migliorare sensibilmente l’esperienza degli ospiti.
Einfach ein toller und wirklich schöner Ort zum Entspannen und Abschalten an dem man sich wunderbar erholen kann!

A beautiful medieval villa with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Tuscan countryside! The place has an incredible atmosphere and allows you to truly experience the magic of Tuscany.
It was wonderfully peaceful and intimate, perfect for anyone looking to relax away from the crowds and noise. We could truly unwind and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, with typical Italian dishes and a great selection of wines. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive.
We especially appreciated the help we received from the reception staff during a difficult situation. My husband had a health issue, and the reception team arranged a hospital appointment for him and helped us with everything we needed. Thanks to their support, everything ended successfully. We are extremely grateful for their kindness and care.
There is also a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the Tuscan fields and hills. The water temperature was perfect, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view.
A truly special place with history, soul, breathtaking views and a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return!
The last part of the road leading to the villa is a little challenging, but absolutely worth it once you arrive.

Loved the authentic (looking) building, the garden, the pool and the view. Especially appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff!
Everything was fine but if I have to mention something then it would be the fact that there are only a few light (salad) lunch options available. My teenage children needed more (;0) so we bought some extra groceries for days that we just wanted to hang around the pool and didn't feel like getting in the car midday. We managed fine but it felt a bit awkward to borrow cutlery and create a makeshift kitchen counter in our room to make sandwiches..
La struttura in sé.. molto caratteristica e bella
La sera un po troppo buia.. al di fuori.. nn è stato possibile nemmeno far una passeggiata dopo cena
La location è spettacolare, immersa nel verde delle colline toscane. La struttura è bellissima, curata e in ottimo stato. Lo staff è sempre disponibile, accogliente e gentilissimo, pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Un luogo davvero piacevole, ideale per trascorrere un soggiorno all’insegna del relax e della tranquillità.
Le camere, purtroppo, erano davvero difficili da vivere a causa del caldo eccessivo. Comprendo la scelta di non installare l’aria condizionata, ma sarebbe almeno necessario dotare le stanze di ventilatori efficienti e silenziosi. Il caldo era talmente estenuante che alcuni ospiti hanno addirittura preferito lasciare la struttura.
Anche negli spazi esterni, compresa la piscina, la presenza di zanzare e mosche era davvero eccessiva e rendeva difficile godersi pienamente la location. Un altro aspetto molto spiacevole riguardava il bagno, dal quale risaliva un forte cattivo odore. Tenere la porta chiusa, però, era quasi impossibile proprio a causa delle temperature elevate nella camera.
Sono aspetti che, considerando la bellezza della struttura e della location, meriterebbero sicuramente maggiore attenzione.

Per quanto pagato non avere l aria condizionata in camera penso sia un pessimo disservizio oltre il fatto che non era chiaro a tanti clienti lì presenti in struttura , nella camera di fianco la nostra di 5 giorni alla prima notte se ne’ sono andati per il caldo infernale nelle camere.
Noi 2 avendo solo 2 notti a disposizione
Abbiamo resistito ma ci siamo trovati a dormire con 2 sdraie nel giardino per il troppo caldo nella camera.
