Title: A major discrepancy between what we booked and what we were offered
Extremely disappointing experience.
We had booked a suite with a terrace, but on arrival we were shown a room that, in our view, did not correspond to what we had booked.
The room was dark, stuffy and rather claustrophobic. More importantly, the terrace was not directly connected to the room. To reach the outside area, we had to use a narrow and uncomfortable staircase and pass through another room on the floor below. This was particularly unsuitable for us given our age.
When booking a “suite with terrace”, we reasonably expected a suite with a terrace that could be accessed directly and conveniently from the accommodation. What we were shown was a substantially different arrangement.
We therefore did not check in, not because we simply wanted to cancel a non-refundable reservation, but because the accommodation offered to us did not correspond to the accommodation we had booked. We immediately explained the situation to the property and to Booking.com and provided photographs documenting what we had been shown.
We then tried to reach a reasonable solution and requested at least a partial refund.
Unfortunately, Lucia refused to address the actual issue — the discrepancy between the accommodation booked and the accommodation offered — and instead relied solely on the cancellation conditions. There was no willingness to find a compromise or offer even a partial refund. The entire amount was ultimately retained, despite the fact that we did not accept or use the room.
This was particularly disappointing because we were not simply trying to cancel our stay. We were raising a genuine concern that the accommodation offered did not match what we had booked.
We fully understand that other guests may have had positive experiences here. Our experience was very different.

Struttura molto tranquilla immersa nella natura. Qui potrete sicuramente trovare serenità. La cena è la colazione molto buone. Il personale è stato davvero gentile sempre!
Nagyon kedves a tulajdonos és a családja, de a kommunikáció időnként nehézkes. Nem mindennapi a hely, vastag kőfalak, régi gerendák, nyitott kandalló, ahogy a honlapjuk is mutatja. Varázslatos! A medence gondozott, szép és meleg , a napozóágyakról a kilátás kisimítja az idegeket. A reggeli bőséges a vacsora nagyon finom.
Mi a kétszemélyes földszinti szobát foglaltunk le. Ezt ne tegyék, válasszák az emeleti nagyobbakat! Kellemes pihenést!
