Pros:

Beautiful setting, close to Bowness and Windermere and mane excellent pubs, great service, clean and beautifully decorated, lovely view, amazing food.

Just a wonderful place!
Pros:

Everything! I was looking for a stop over for a drive from the north of Scotland to the South East. Didn’t need anything fancy and the area of this hotel was about half way. The reviews were good and it is a real gem! The staff are lovely, has a great country house charm, good food and a beautiful location. The gardens are stunning! The weather was pretty miserable during our stay, but can imagine sitting outside in the stunning gardens on a nice day.
I can’t recommend enough and will definitely come back.

A beautiful country house complete with exceptional service
Pros:

Beautiful and welcoming. This is a glorious country house with sumptuous interiors. The communal areas were both stunning and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and professional and the service was excellent. Cath made us feel as though we were guests in her home. We left already planning our next visit. The location is stunning with well kept luscious grounds and a glorious view of Windermere. It was peaceful, tranquil and a world away from the hustle and bustle of Bowness.

I'd rather be at Lindeth Fell
Pros:

Simply divine.
The staff greeted us like we were long lost friends and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The most relaxing break I've ever had, and over too soon.

Cons:

The only thing I see that could potentially be an issue is that the parking is somewhat limited and if you have a lot of luggage, that could be problematic. Having said that, the staff repeatedly offered to help us with our bags.

Pros:

Beautiful gardens, accommodating staff, great amenities, choice of hypoallergenic bedding, cleanliness was meticulously maintained especially in the bathroom

Cons:

The food was okay. Would’ve preferred other yoghurt, it was quite sour and didn’t pair as well as it could’ve with the compote, as well as less mashed/thin avocado.
