Arrived at the hotel and the member of staff said that our room had been sold to someone else and said all the other rooms were full. No real explanation
Nothing about the hotel. Glad we didn’t stay.
There was a nice little welcome bag on the bed when we arrived. Communication prior to arrival was better than some.
Staff where a little inattentive. I waited at reception for over 5 minutes for the receptionist to appear, despite numerous staff in the bar acknowledging my presence but not helping in anyway. Whilst I know this isn't long in reality, when there are staff staring at you, it feels a lot longer.
There where numerous short and curly hairs left in the shower, a large amount of plasters and biscuit wrappers left in the bedside drawers, the fan in the room was damaged in such a way as to make it dangerous to use, the wallpaper was badly damaged by damp and was coming away form the walls, the beside units where delaminating round the edges.
Despite leaving at a reasonable 9:30 am, reception was not manned so we where unable to share our experience face to face.

I don’t like the lack of customer service when we arrived . And we left a shirt in the room which has a gift and the hotel have not acknowledged my email or phone calls

Easy to find , lots of parking
The bed was incredibly uncomfortable..
Although the window was open and there was a fan. It really didnt have much power to it. Couldn't keep the window open wide due to the air traffic and road traffic.. shower pressure wasnt good. Someone's shirt in the wardrobe.
Nobody was on the desk at check out in the morning
Friendly staff and room was very clean. Within walking distance of Stockport station a restaurant on site is a bonus.

The location was good, easily accessible to close to a bus stop. Oh I love the little welcome package they put together with amenities like toothbrushes and earbuds etc. really thoughtful.
The room was a bit dirty.. especially the bathroom. almost seem like the bathroom wasn't cleaned from previous guest stay or had been recently been used.

The staff were brilliant clean and tidy if you stay in the hotel you will never be disappointed the restaurant connected to the hotel wow I mean wow I put on a couple of pounds it's amazing

Staff is very friendly
The music from the restaurant is too loud. I could hear from my room and it stopped quite late. Also the curtains were dirty and the milk pods were covered with mold.
