Pros:

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of hot and cold dishes, fresh breads, pastries, and both hot and cold drinks.

Wenn wir nochmal nach Zermatt kommen, dann nur ins BaseCamp

Also, dass erste was aufgefallen ist, war die freundliche Rezeptionistin. Ein freundlicher Empfang. Ein kostenloses Upgrade für ein Mega Zimmer. Lecker Frühstück. Alles sauber , viel Platz im Bad. Einfach sehr gut.

Vom Basecamp auf den Gipfel der Glückseligkeiten
Pros:

Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Matterhorn war atemberaubend schön. Das Bad hat im DG ein Panoramafenster, so dass man hier ebenfalls einen Blick aufs Matterhorn erhaschen kann ( wir haben es sogar glühen sehen) Das familiengeführte Basecamp ist den Gästen sehr zugewandt und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Pancakes, Eier und Omeletts werden frisch zubereitet. Auf Wunsch wird die Sauna angeheizt. Es gibt eine kleine Bibliothek mit Bildbänden und Zeitschriften.

Wir kommen sehr gerne hier her zurück - auch wenn wir zwar Bergmenschen, aber keine Bergsteiger sind

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit dem bequemsten Bett welches ich je in einem Hotel hatte. Ein wunderbarer Blick aufs Matterhorn hat das Zimmer auch geboten. Das Frühstück war super lecker und es gab alles was das Herz begehrt (Leckeres Brot, Toast, diverse Eierspeisen, Panecakes, Müsli, Früchte, Joghurt etc.)
