Pros:

Very generous dinner portions and good breakfast.

Not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2 star B&B. The price is double what I feel it should be.
Pros:

Plenty of room in the car park, which was not a surprise given our experience of the hotel.

Cons:

Cleanliness was not good. The room had a smell of body odour. The place was tired and felt run down. Bathroom door did not close, apparently this is due to all the rain they had?? Shower had mould around the tray. Fan was covered in dust, sleigh bed wood felt sticky as did the remote for the TV. Mattress was cheap and too soft and very uncomfortable. (Master room - one of the best they have). We unfortunately ate at the hotel, Chef cannot cook a steak and does not seem to know the difference between fries and chunky chips (his/her menu!). Place shuts the front doors at 10pm which they never tire of telling you before your stay. After 10pm the place is dark with next to no lights on inside and no staff around. Very uncomfortable stay and very disappointing.

Really excellent!
Pros:

The staff were all excellent, very helpful in multiple ways and very cheerful too. The food in the evening and at breakfast was all excellent. The car chargers in the car park were a great feature and at a reasonable price. It was also great to be welcomed
by a super-helpful Scottish person and to be served also by local Scottish staff. This all adds to the authenticity of the whole experience. All in all, it was really good. Thanks very much!

Cons:

Nothing.

A great place in a rural location. You certainly get the feeling of being in the Highlands.
Pros:

The bar and bar staff were very good as was the dinner. The small double was more that satisfactory although beware there is no lift to the upper floors.

Cons:

TV in the room had avery poor signal and therefore not able to watch.

1 night stay in Highlands
Pros:

Location in the stunning Scottish Highlands is excellent. The breakfast was on the expensive side but high quality and justified the price. The bed was really comfortable and the cleanliness was really good.

Cons:

Just the shower was too compact. I'm a smaller skinny guy and still managed to hit the shower off with my elbow...
