The breakfast was exceptional

Cons:

The facilities in the room didn't work properly. However a member of the staff came very promptly and sorted things out

Lovely stay, will be back.
Pros:

It was very quiet at the rear of the hotel. The bed was clean and comfy.
There was a coffee machine in the room which was great, and plenty of mirrors.
Very nice bar and dining area.

Cons:

Just quite cold in the bathroom.
Would perhaps have a bit bigger room on next visit but not essential.

The standard of decor furnishings and amenities are excellent. The bar and restaurant are cheerful and inviting and comfortable. The bedrooms are done to a high standard and comfortable

Super comfy bed. Great food and staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Cons:

You need to check your room is dog friendly if taking your dog as not all of the rooms are and booking.com doesn't facilitate this during booking.

Fantastic hotel, great staff ( especially Nicola), good food
Pros:

Close to town, good sized car park, eclectic decor, friendly helpful staff, good food

Cons:

Our room was roadside so could be noisy with traffic and pedestrians but nothing too horrendous

Room Smelt of sewerage

Nice position

Cons:

The room smelt of sewerage we could not stay. My granddaughter felt very sick after being in the room and we asked for a refund. They offered another room we felt uncomfortable staying there. They said they would contact us on Monday regarding a refund but we have heard nothing two days later. Very disappointing.

It was a very nice hotel and we intend to book another weekend there .
Pros:

The room was comfortable and very quiet. There was no noise during the night from outside or inside. We had breakfast both mornings. The breakfasts were very good and the staff were very friendly.
We had an evening meal on the first night. There was a good choice of dishes and the food was very good.

If you are wishing to stay in Oswestry then Wynnstay Hotel is the place for you.
Pros:

Superb hospitality from start to finish; all the staff encountered were friendly, polite and helpful led by General Manager Chris. who looked after us so well,
Our accommodation was spotless, with an extremely comfortable bed and all the facilities that you could wish for.
Great quality food, both breakfast and evening meal with extensive menu.
We are looking forward to another stay when next visiting Oswestry.

Cons:

There was absolutely nothing that we could point a figure at in terms of any issues asa we did not encounter any!

Staff great at hotel, room was fine, decor great. ! Garden was lovely.

Cons:

Service in restaurant, clueless and food was cheap and nasty ingrediaents and I could have had better for a third of the prive at Wetherspoons! The service and chef really let a lovely hotel down!! THEY SERVED ME ROOM TEMP ROSE!!!! Why didnt they give an aoption and an explanation BEFORE serving warm wine. When I complained they goit us an ice bucket!!! That will never chill the wine in time while we were eating!! so unfortunately, id sack everyone to do with the restaurant as its the ONLY reason I wont book again

Great place to stop! would use again.
Pros:

The room was clean and had everything in that would be expected for a 5 start hotel. Breakfast was great! the bed was comfortable but the roof was very hot at night.

The room was very hot but the window did open so not that much of an issue.
