We were very kindly upgraded and given two free drinks to redeem at the bar. Check-in was lovely, thanks to Sophie, and the hand-written note was a lovely touch. The bed was so so comfortable and we’d definitely stay again. We visited in a heatwave and were so grateful for the air con in our room. We loved the water and milk in the fridge. It was definitely a plus to have a fridge in our room, something that’s often missing from hotel rooms now. As I have to store medication in the fridge, it made our trip less stressful. It was so easy for us to request a black cab to get back to the station, and the location was great for a trip to the theatre.
Nothing major comes to mind.
Location .
Nothing to dislike.
Location and the desk team
Special a girl from Holand her name is Ginger or something like that and Tom
A bit small rooms
Fabulous location, great set up, fabulous food.
A small room, not Air, not comfortable. I wouldn't stay there again; the price is disproportionate. The Location is good
Fabulous location and lovely room (our Cosy Double was perfect for our short stay). Friendly and Efficient Check in and Departure, special mention for Sophie and her Sunny Disposition. Great choice of Breakfast in their Rondo Restaurant. All in all highly recommended.
Price on the high side but to be expected in Central London and probably returns value for money in the market place.
A small room, not comfortable. I wouldn't stay there again; the price is disproportionate.
Location
Beautifully designed while still comfortable, great location
Staying here was such a great decision in order to explore and experience London! It was a short walk from the train stop coming from LHR airport. Immediately, we were helped by Sophie who was SO wonderful and accommodating. We were able to check in early with no problem. She wrote down all of her recommendations for the area in relation to what we usually prefer to do - vintage shopping, great food, and museums/history. We ended up getting a complimentary upgrade to our room which really made us feel special and looked out for to start our trip off.
Location was perfect. It was tucked right into SoHo, but not so much that it was rowdy or too busy directly around the hotel, which is what we prefer. Walking only a couple of blocks we found ourselves in the midst of it all, in all directions.
The room was clean and comfortable! The only thing I’d be mindful of is room cleaning; they stop service at 3pm every day so if you’d like to request a room turnover, just make sure it’s before 3pm.
There was always security at the doors which just helped the place feel really looked out for and monitored as far as hotel guests.
There is an ANALOG FILM BOOTH in the lobby!!!!!!!! It is so cool and we took a photo strip each day of our stay. Such an amazing detail for us to be able to opt into for a few pounds.
Overall, would stay here again for sure. Great service.
Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my overall experience at Hoxton. While the design and location are great, the service was disappointing, especially considering the price and the hotel’s positioning. There was no room-cleaning service, and no one informed me at check-in that cleaning was available only upon request. At the same time, there was no toilet brush in the room, which made the situation even more inconvenient.
I also requested an iron and was told that none were available because they had all been given out to other guests.
L’ambiance
La chambre était un peu petite
Top drawer experience. Room was fantastic and the team were great. Tommy at reception is such a hero. Emma in Rondo was an absolute diamond, she's a real asset! Food was incredible. Beef skewers, bone marrow, pork belly - all to die for.
I booked this hotel because my sister had stayed here before. Travelers should know that it is a wonderful location right next to a tube station. The decor is very trendy and hip, the rooms are very small, but all you need for one person.
The biggest downside to this hotel for us was the community lobby. Each day, morning, noon and night, the lobby was filled with people that were studying and working or simply hanging out. It was very difficult to find a place to sit. It was difficult to find a place at the bar. It was difficult to find a seat to eat..
If you want a restaurant where you feel like you have a safe Haven to come in after a long day and relax, this is not the place. For the price we paid, I did not expect this type of lobby experience.
Solo trip for an event held in house, I booked an extra night stay. The location here is perfect for exploring Covent Garden , Drury Lane , Seven Dials .. etc , also great location , with station/stops nearby, to travel across London by tube and bus . My 'shoebox' room was more than adequate , comfy, clean well equipped . The welcome you receive here is comfortably personal and reception staff are most helpful ( shout out to Tomi who tirelessly advised me and let me know how to best use the Hoxton facilities , to suit my solo travel, Thank you ..of course, its central London, so some nightly rates are at premium , the addition of dynamic pricing which can reduce costs as your stay gets nearer and the deals for weekend stays, if available, are great with a Credit added to your room for Bar and Restaurant . Rooms are quiet and room service offered ( breakfast options are casual, easy order and good value )
Great location - walkable to the British Museum and Covent Garden, ,and a tube stop at the next intersection. The hotel's decor is beautiful and trendy. It definitely attracts a younger crowd and the lobby and restaurant are busy places. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful.
The location is fantastic
Bit expensive for such a small space
