It was cheap & cheerful. Didn’t expect too much for the price. Nice cheap place to stay, decent location with premier store near by. Easy parking. Stayed here for Alton Towers, 30 minute drive away. Room itself was fairly spacious, room to put up our large travel cot. Decent sized wardrobe with shelves to unpack the cases.
Orange grime and limescale inside kettle, hardly ideal to make my babies bottles. Socket only on one side of bed and that didn’t work. Not only was there a hole in bathroom door handle rather than a lock, but there wasn’t even a latch to keep the door closed. No privacy to shower or use the bathroom with the door blowing open. Although it’s a budget hotel/motel, it’s disappointing given doorhandles can be purchased pretty cheaply.
Nothing
very dirty and the carpet was smelling. There were spiders in the bathroom.
Availability at very short notice.
Parking charge £20
Reception staff were fine.
Poor quality rooms: uncomfortable bed that was years old, cheap foam pillows, dented/damaged bedroom furniture, badly stained carpet, tatty curtains, trickle flow of water from shower. All well overdue for refurbishment.
Didn’t like anything about property
Lock was broken for toilet
It’s off the main road
It was quieter than I thought it would be

Friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival (Suzanna). She allowed us to store some food in the staff fridge and to charge our electric car. A real bonus!
We could have been put off by the TripAdvisor reviews if we'd read them before booking but for such a budget option they appear to be doing their best to upgrade where possible. Our room and bathroom were large, comfortable, clean and conveniently situated for the car parking/charging. The weather was hot and being able to open windows in the bedroom (front) and bathroom (back) we could get a draught through to keep us cool.
There is no bar or restaurant and so be prepared for that by visiting the local Aldi or Coop. All in all we had all we needed and
it was v good value for money.
If you are used to a bath sheet rather than bath towel then you will need to take your own, but the towel provided did the job!
Stayed previously.
Gone down hill Tryed to revamped rooms on minum money not worked, as room just about use able. NEW TV was good though.
Standard of room.
Poor.
Location to where we needed to be!
No tv remote for the television! Towels were stained, shower rail was rusty, carpet stained. The key card locks on the doors don't work (no mechanism in the lock) additional key lock. Big gaps around the door and frame. Frame looked like it had been kicked in previously. Questionable wiring.........reading lamp constantly on (barely illuminated) couldn't be switched off. In my mates room......The room card key wasn't needed to switch his lights on. But mine was!
Accidents happen! Went flying in the bathroom and spent 5hrs in a+e. Radial neck fracture
Ps derelict abandoned flats opposite! Lovely view
Clean
Smell is horrible of paint
Very very uncomfortable bed
Location and staff
The bath disnt have a working plug tha fitted and it was the same 3 months ago when i had the samd room
The area and a different hotel that was immaculate for £15 more than the stay here with free breakfast.
Nothing at all like the photos, potholes all over the drive, the receptionist said she had tried telling the management but was told not to be overreacting. The room was dirty, unhygienic with a filthy toilet brush, dirty toilet, unchanged sheets, no mattress protector and mattress heavily stained, kettle filthy, radiator a hazard, bed base heavily frayed, toilet rolls dirty with stains, dark and dingy, walked in then walked out.
