Pros:

Location is great, really quite motel. The rooms were updated, beds was super comfortable and shower was great. Also would like to call out Gaige the valet attendant was super helpful.

Great value near Fiserv
Pros:

Great, clean newer hotel a short walk to restaurants and Fiserv Arena. We visit our kids in Milwaukee regularly, and have stayed at many downtown hotels. We haven't stayed at a hotel that is a better overall value than the Hyatt Place.

Avoid the hotel. Reviews are not accurate
Pros:

Having stayed at Hyatts all over the USA, I have to say I was really looking forward to this hotel. The reviews made me believe it would be a great time. Unfortunately, they were the epitome of overpromises and under delivering. The room was not clean. Scuffs and stains scattered throughout. Housekeeping stops at 3pm, when I left the room at 230pm, no one could come clean my room. In fact, no one could even replace my towels and provide me new, clean ones. The breakfast ceases at 930am so if you’re trying to relax on your vacation, make sure you are prepared to rush downstairs and get breakfast before they shut it down. The hotel really isn’t anything special at all. It’s older than the pictures present. Personally, while the Regency had worse reviews, I cannot imagine it’s worse. And, even though I love Hyatt, I would suggest a different brand in general upon a Milwaukee trip.

Always a wonderful Milwaukee stay!
Pros:

We always stay at the Hyatt Place Milwaukee Downtown when back home to visit family - it is a fresh urban hotel in a super location -both the historic beer (& deer!) districts with all their restaurants plus an easy on-off the major highways. This hotel has all the Hyatt comforts we have come to expect- pristine clean, terrific beds, pillows, spacious rooms and modern bathrooms, lovely open lobby area with comfy seating and a complimentary delicious full hot/cold breakfast buffet. Ample street parking adjacent to hotel or in the hotel lot. Perfect for a Milwaukee visit!

Great location, great hotel
Pros:

The Hyatt has always given me great service and as a member cold water bottles, sometimes parking, and free nights during the year. I won't stay anywhere else if I can help it. The Hyatt Place is near the Fiserv Forum within walking distance and plenty of options for food and drink. Those bars offer shuttles to the American Family Field and Summerfest and State Fair.

terrible experience
Pros:

I was offered a complementary upgrade to a hotel room that had a drain in the middle of the floor of the handicap accessible bathroom. There was standing water inside the drain and eventually it smelled like a sewer.

Great location with a great team
Pros:

This is an amazingly well placed hotel. While downtown is just a few blocks away, the Brewery District is right outside the front door. Its a well kept location with a very friendly staff who provided a fantastic service. Rooms were nicely appointed, with comfortable beds and bright bathrooms.

Great location and nice lobby bar
Pros:

Stayed here for a quick visit to Milwaukee and we were pleasantly surprised with location and the inside of the hotel. Unlike other Hyatt places we have stayed in this had more of a personalized feel to the area, with basketball and Milwaukee decor throughout(even in the rooms). We stayed on the 5th floor very quiet.
