Good comfy bed very basic but we new that would definitely recommend and extremely clean

Felt a bit deceived by the description on booking.com
It clearly states there is a fridge, microwave and toaster in each room but this is not the case at all.
Also, a kettle but no tea/coffee or milk. I have read some other reviews and seems if you have a dog pod you don't get this however we didn't get an option for a dog pod or no dog pod - we didn't have a dog! This maybe needs clarifying on the booking site.
I would stay again but would bring other things to make my trip more comfortable. There are no glasses, no cutlery which meant we had to go out and buy these.
I was happy with our pod but think there needs to be better clarification around what is included and what isn't.

Location, so close to York but far enough out to be wonderfully peaceful.
The Cabin is fantastic, rustic and cosy. Has everything you need.
Fridge shack is really useful, plenty of fridge and freezer space despite the site being busy. Being so hot this was particularly helpful.
Being able to borrow a bbq, just wheel it over to our cabin was great.
Toilets/showers lovely and spacious and very clean.
Staff in the morning lovely, we were just about to go wash up the plates etc from night before and they told us to leave them as they would do it for us.
The whole place is exceptionally clean and tidy. Everyone very respectful in regards to noise, no children allowed which was an added bonus!
Parking is also great, we were able to park right next to our cabin which was so handy for unloading our stuff.

Everything was great for a couple who want a nice cosy break away together, the cabin we had was great for a little getaway and set on a nice site with easy access to York.
I have to say from my male point of view it was great, However from my female partners view, she didn't like the toilets at night, and there was a big queue for the showers in the morning as one was faulty, which caused us to rush to be out at the checkout time of 10 am.
Nice and relaxing, good spacious pod. Lovely grounds/area to wonder around. BBQ's available if you want to cook something.
If you go out you need to take the car or try get a bus, we wanted to do some walking but the road was busy and no pavements so want safe. Totally fine if you're happy to drive somewhere we just like to walk alot when away.
