Pros:

It’s in good area - it’s right near Nishiki market. The staff were so nice and welcoming. They provide croissants every morning. There is laundry on the property and it’s available at anytime. The room was very spacious and the best was comfortable.

The bathroom had a tub which is used everyday and it was so needed after walking soo much.

There was daily cleaning and provided new towels.

They provided complimentary water.

Cons:

The room was very dark and I didn’t get a lot of light from the windows.

I wish there was a full body mirror as there is only two mirrors - one in the bathroom and a tiny one on the side by the desk.

Great place to stay
Pros:

Great location, A lot to do within walking distance, plenty of shops nearby and restaurants to choose from and it's right down the road from Nishiki Market. Great place to stay. I Will definitely book with Miru Kyoto Nishiki again!

Gastvrije, goed gelegen en schone uitvalsbasis voor het leven ontdekken van Kyoto.
Pros:

Supervriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ligging in een levendige wijk op loopafstand van de metrostations. Voor Japanse begrippen ruime kamers. Deze waren overigens brandschoon.
Iedere ochtend een vers croissantje in een doggybag voor de deur.

A Wonderful Stay
Pros:

The previous reviews did not disappoint. The staff was always so wonderful and nice, the hotel is in a perfect location to explore Nishiki Market and the surrounding areas, the the room itself was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hotel in great location.
Pros:

Great location and room. The hotel is lovely and central. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Very nice and clean room with ample space. Will stay with again when back in Kyoto.

Pros:

It’s perfectly located, a block above Nishiki Market and in the heart of the shopping district. There are hundreds of beautiful restaurants and cafes on the same street and cross streets with the hotel. Public transportation is within a short walking distance. The room I stayed in was exactly as pictured - immaculate, comfortable and with lovely amenities (I loved the toiletries and the pyjamas). The staff were friendly and helpful. It was an excellent base for sightseeing in Kyoto.

Cons:

Really nothing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Very helpful staff and central location
Pros:

Fantastic location and super friendly staff. Central location for sightseeing, right next to Nishiki Market, and plenty of lovely restaurants in the immediate vicinity, as well as convenience stores. Room was very clean and relatively spacious. There was some noise from outside occasionally, such as passing traffic, but didn’t affect our stay.

Awesome stay in Kyoto
Pros:

Everything!
Awesome location, walking distance to the Nishiki market and the train station
Lots of good japanese restaurants around the hotel too
The yummy free croissant in the morning was also very good
The free Nespresso coffee was a great addition

Pros:

This was my favorite hotel during our whole month in japan. Plenty of room, coffee maker, laundry, friendly staff! I think this location was actually better than staying near kyoto station.there is a small station nearby and the bus line a few blocks away. Easy walk to the river and an excellent grocery store.
