Immaculate, everything was of a high specification and the little finishing touches were a bonus.
Beds too hard for me and our room didn’t seem to have much air flow - we were top floor with no real window. It felt quite warm during the night.
Breakfast is amazing, room was simply brilliant, best sleep ok most comfortable bed
Location, room, breakfast, staff, honesty bar was a nice touch (although we didn’t use it).
Unfortunately we could hear people in the room above quite clearly without them being noisy.

Order and have to say best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel ! Gosforth is a beautiful village and 1692 wasdale iis just outside it ! Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the area !

Lovely accommodation and friendly, helpful host. Very new feel to it all. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend to anybody visiting Wasdale and West Cumbria.

Absolutely delicious breakfast, we looked forward to this every morning. The room was stunning, very comfortable with local luxurious products. Staff were lovely- really made our experience personalised. Will definitely return to stay here again!
Not as private as initially anticipated, grounds were lovely but very open/shared spaces and room opens out to the reception area. Would have loved.some local cheese or ham in the continental breakfast spread but there were so many other options that it wasn't a big deal. As already mentioned, breakfast was delicious!

Very peaceful location. Lovely comfortable room which was spotlessly clean with lovely views of the countryside. The staff were very friendly and provided a wonderful full cooked English breakfast. Very enjoyable stay.

It has been renovated to high standards and modern but keeping the country feel. It was also situated in a good place where you had the sun all the all day and it was very quiet and peaceful.
There was nothing to dislike
Lovely rooms in a wonderful location. Breakfasts were gorgeous and all staff happy to help. Great that there was an electric charger and the ‘honesty bar’ made life really easy. A great lounge area to have a drink and relax at the end of the day.
Some aspects of the website were misleading. The hot tub is only free if you book directly with the hotel. If you book through anyone else there is a £10.00 charge.
Also on the website it suggested that you do not fully follow your sat nav but use the directions provided by the hotel, from the M6. Next time I would fully use sat nav, as we did on the way home. Trying to follow hotel directions added unnecessary time onto our journey.
A fantastic location to allow you to just chill out with beautiful scenery all around you.
The property is amazing with a modern contemporary look and feel.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and well throughout, especially the bifold doors opening out onto your own patio area.
The breakfast is a star attraction with plenty of home cooked piping hot food and also cereals, pastries, fruit and yoghurts.
The staff are polite, friendly and very informative. Nothing seems too much trouble.
The only negative was a really hot radiator (towel rail) in the bathroom that we couldn’t adjust.
