It has been renovated to high standards and modern but keeping the country feel. It was also situated in a good place where you had the sun all the all day and it was very quiet and peaceful.

Fabulous hotel in an amazing part of the world. Would fully recommend
Pros:

Lovely rooms in a wonderful location. Breakfasts were gorgeous and all staff happy to help. Great that there was an electric charger and the ‘honesty bar’ made life really easy. A great lounge area to have a drink and relax at the end of the day.

Cons:

Some aspects of the website were misleading. The hot tub is only free if you book directly with the hotel. If you book through anyone else there is a £10.00 charge.
Also on the website it suggested that you do not fully follow your sat nav but use the directions provided by the hotel, from the M6. Next time I would fully use sat nav, as we did on the way home. Trying to follow hotel directions added unnecessary time onto our journey.

A fantastic property in a beautiful location.
Pros:

A fantastic location to allow you to just chill out with beautiful scenery all around you.

The property is amazing with a modern contemporary look and feel.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and well throughout, especially the bifold doors opening out onto your own patio area.

The breakfast is a star attraction with plenty of home cooked piping hot food and also cereals, pastries, fruit and yoghurts.

The staff are polite, friendly and very informative. Nothing seems too much trouble.

Cons:

The only negative was a really hot radiator (towel rail) in the bathroom that we couldn’t adjust.

Relaxed hotel with amazing rooms.
Pros:

Wonderful hotel in an idyllic setting. Breakfasts were substantial and set us up to climb Scar fell , which is very close. Hot tub has great views.

The location is amazing! The hotel is immaculate, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is cooked to order and is superb. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who would like to visit this property. The beds are very comfortable and after a long day of hiking, it is much appreciated.

What a find !!!
Pros:

Absolutely fantastic, what a wonderful place to stay. Large bed, luxurious bedding, lovely bathroom with walk in shower. The whole place is to an extremely high standard of architectural thought and build, amazing.
