The worse hotel i've had the misfortune of staying in.
Cons:

The room was filthy, grime and pubic hair in the shower. Toilet unclean. The food was terrible in the pub, just all stodgy. No healthy options. So bad i asked to cancel my 2nd night but the reception couldn't do it. Had to wait for Jane to get in. Jane never arrived or phoned me. Terrible. Avoid!

Cons:

Went from the crematorium to the hotel ( 5minutes away) took half hour to get there due to all the roadworks. No fault of the hotel but maybe they could have sent a detailed map of how to approach the hotel

Would go again when road works finished which doesn’t look like any time soon.
Pros:

Everything; clean smart.

Cons:

Main exit from the hotel was subject to a major road works so everywhere we drove we had to make a 15 min detour down little country roads to get anywhere.

Wobbly start, but the staff sorted it and we ended up very happy.
Pros:

SPECIAL MENTION FOR SAMANTHA (Houskeeping) Sorted our issue out and went the extra mile. Nice Lady.

Cons:

Did not like finding condom wrapper by the side of the bed. Which then led us to wonder about the cleanliness of the sheets. So we spent the first night laying on top of the bed instead of in it.

Decent. But access is atrocious. And staff are rude.
Pros:

Decent quality room. Nice surroundings. Decent breakfast.

Cons:

Roadworks on main road. So unable to access the pub. 7 mile detour. Rude staff, when I rang up took 6 calls to get through to ask for directions. Staff hung up . Very poor.. Reception unmanned. You have to go to pub to collect key. No ironing board in room.

Cons:

There was a diversion so you had to go all around the roads to access the property because of roadworks. It was frustrating but was not their fault.
