Prachtig hotel, midden in de natuur, waar je tot rust komt en van de omgeving kunt genieten.
Pros:

Het was een prachtige plek, midden in de natuur in een mooi aangelegde tuin. De kamers waren netjes en schoon, het zwembad helder en goed van temperatuur, het personeel was vriendelijk en professioneel en het eten en drinken was heerlijk. We hebben genoten.

Chalet situé au dessus de la piscine au calme dans un magnifique jardin tropical où vous pouvez voir de nombreux oiseaux : toucans, colibris et bien d'autres
Bien qu'un peu fraîche malgré qu'elle soit chauffée, la piscine parfaitement entretenue est la bienvenue après une journée de marche dans la réserve de cloudbridge à 5 minutes en voiture.

Siempre que voy al chirripó, es con el pelícano. El nivel de hotel, restaurante, servicio, calidad de habitaciones, la piscina, lo hace una experiencia muy muy buena al hacer turismo de montaña. Es u lugar tranquilo y encantador. Soy cliente desde el 2015 y siempre regresamos.
Bañarse en la piscina después de un descenso del chirripó es un excelente plan.

Cons:

Creí que la habitación tenía tele pero no, igual supongo que el objetivo no es ir a estar viendo tele en la montaña, pero iba con un objetivo más de descansar o reposar post chirripo. Pero todo bien, me gustaría estar más tiempo ahí.

Great find!
Pros:

We loved our stay at the Pelican hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the location is gorgeous, and the atmosphere of the hotel is relaxed and congenial. There is a lot of great hiking in the region and our river cabin was absolutely charming. We would be delighted to come back.

Fabulous peaceful garden full of so many birds.
Pros:

The garden and pool are just lovely. We have never seen so many different types of birds in a hotel garden before. The location is really peaceful and quiet. The restaurant is really good too, but it doesn't open every night.

Cons:

This is a rural location, so I suppose some insects are to be expected. However, something unseen was constantly consuming the timbers in the ceiling and dropping sawdust down onto the bedsheets. The hotel should really fix this somehow.
