Excellent stay
Pros:

Hotel Metaxa is excellent. We stayed there twice: once on the way from the airport and again at the end, on the way to the airport. During our last stay, we received a room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise. Both rooms we stayed in were excellent—spacious and clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. There were three of us, yet we didn't feel cramped. The terrace offers a wonderful view of the harbor. The fantastic city center is just around the corner. We regretted not spending more time exploring Heraklion. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. Heraklion impressed us so much that we will definitely return, and we will stay at your hotel again.

Not a 5 star hotel. (Shouldent be)
Pros:

I liked the location. The room was clean and view was nice. It was also quiet during the night.

Cons:

Alot of stuff was broken in the room. Should not be a 5 star hotel. Its an average, 4 star at best.

La posizione. Struttura nuova. Letto comodo.

Cons:

Non c'è una hall accogliente e spaziosa. Praticamente non esiste. Quindi se non vuoi stare in camera stai per strada.

Solid spot, great stay.
Pros:

Great location, extremely convenient right in the downtown area and near the museum.

Cons:

Room was just a little small, light switches were in strange places. My partner turned off the light while I was in the bathroom from outside without realizing it and I hit my head, cutting it on a fixture. Overall not a big deal.
