Location
The first room allocated too small
Secong room was better size however dark with no sea view and too near entertainment and public toilets ( noisy)
The staff were lovely. We have stayed at the hotel last year and booked again as soon as we got home for this year.
The room was small and so hot I couldn't breathe even though we hired air conditioning. My hair was so wet it was like I had just had a shower. And when we looked out the window it was a back alley that was very unpleasant to look at. So we didn't even stay one night. There was no way we could have slept in that room.
Stayed for our ten year wedding anniversary. It was easy to find, not far from the tram stops. Staff were really polite. Our table for breakfast wasn’t registered but they still sat us and it was an enjoyable breakfast. Room was good and did the job. Would definitely stay again
I couldn’t fault the hotel. I couldn’t find anything wrong
Staff
We were in a horrible basement
Everything

Nothing
Every thing
Great breakfast, entertainment and bar. Good location
Forgot to put our in room requests in room. Could do with more of a clean in some areas but was clean enough. Some minor improvements such as door fixing or lick of paint would go a long way
Certainly we'll located, and fairly central. I was delighted to discover air con in the bedroom and the weather was very warm. The reception staff were warm and friendly. The shower was good, strong and beautifully hot! A real plus.
Oh crikey! Look , the Lyndene is fairly typical of many of the older Blackpool Victorian hotels. Inside is like a rabbit warren of stairs , steps and corridors. The room was a ' family suite' : 2 rooms bisected by an on suite which was tiny. The toilet was extremely difficult to use because it was so close to the wall in front. The room with the double bed i shared with my room was very claustrophobic, barely room to move. If you want entertainment, this is the place I guess. For those like me and my family , listening to the heavy base thump from the concert room is trying when you're in bed
breakfast was the worst I have ever tried. , bacon burnt , beans cold , was just given breakfast did not ask what i wanted , serv ice very poor
everything about the lyndene , towel rail in room stuck on constantly, asked maintenance to look at this but, suprise could not be fixed , was told to hire a fan for my grandson who is asthmatic again , no fans . wardrobes could not open to hang clothes as bed against wardrobes.
windows very dirty and opened very minimal .ceiling was covered in marks , i went to buy a drink of wster from the bar as did other residents was told come back in 10 minutes as need to cash up or go to the other bar , I went to other bar to be greeted by an even grumpier gent who said 'why did the other bar man send you here i am closing ' i stated I only wanted a can of water for my grandson! I did get served but other residents didn't.
earlier in the evening I ordered a cappuccino for myself and iced coffee for my 12 year old grandson to be informed again by the rude barman , I can't seve him iced coffee , I will have to do him decaffeinated if he really wants one .. ..when adked why? he stated because it contains nicotine!!! I have you know no it doesn't, it contains caffeine, the residents who overheard this could not believe what they were hearing from him .
the dining experience was aweful , felt like we were in the poor part as the other dining room had buffet style and extras .
glasses outside on tables were there all day
ashtrays we're filled to the brim and not emptied all day
rooms very very small and very dated .
would I recommend Lyndene?? never
would I return ?? never
staff on reception were very unhelpful .
I did think I have been to a more disorganised hotel .
