Gorgeous place to stay.
Pros:

Maylands Lodge is gorgeous. The bed was comfortable, the room delightful, the shower was hot and I loved the warmed bathroom floor! The art in the hotel is very well curated and there are a lot of hang out spaces with comfortable chairs. I loved wandering in the gardens. Breakfast was delicious. Don't overthink it, stay here.

Pros:

The building has a beautiful classical exterior, while the interior combines classic and modern styles. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and the on-site parking was very convenient. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service.

A beautiful heritage place to stay in town!
Pros:

The staff are very caring and helpful. We had a tight schedule on day one and needed to leave just after 8am, right when the restaurant opens. The staff helped us order breakfast the night before and had it all ready and nicely packed by 8am. In addition, the rooms are comfortable and the view is stunning. It is a very convenient location with a shopping center close by.
