First and probably last Moxy experience
Pros:

Wow....such small rooms..hard for 2 people. Micro-hotel probably not our thing. Need a drop down sturdy shelf for suitcase. Shower leaks into main room.

Amazing experience at the Moxy Chelsea, it’s a hotel that I highly recommend.
Pros:

I always stay at the Moxy in Chelsea. It’s my favorite location and hotel in Chelsea. It’s a great location to get in and out of. The hotel has an amazing rooftop and bar. The beds are extremely comfortable! The views are beyond exceptional! Truly always such a great experience!

Cons:

I would say that when busy the check in can be a bit chaotic. So possibly having a self check in station when it gets really busy.

Quick and easy
Pros:

The 2 staff we met were friendly and the AC was good.

Cons:

The bathroom was shit, only 2 towels, no mini fridge/mini bar, no body lotion even, no q-tips/cotton ball little pack, our TV was broken so couldn’t watch anything, and the shower leaked everywhere. Only good thing was AC.

Train your staff it’s not giving 4 stars
Pros:

Terrible service and zero hospitality. Avoid this place.
I had an absolutely awful experience checking out today. The digital mobile key failed to work, leaving me locked out of my room. When I went to the front desk for help, the agent (a Black gentleman) completely blew past the fact that the hotel’s technology had failed. Instead of focusing on correcting the mistake, he chose to give me a massive attitude and forced an unnecessary confrontation.
He aggressively insisted on re-verifying my information and argued with me about my checkout time, treating me like I was in the wrong—right up until he actually looked at his screen, saw my loyalty status, and realized I did have an approved late checkout.
What should have been a quick, 8-minute trip to grab my luggage turned into a stressful 30-minute ordeal that almost caused me to miss my train. It is pathetic that a guest has to flash status just to be treated with basic decency. Zero accountability and completely unacceptable customer service.

Great location and views
Pros:

The rooms were as pictured and described. Everyone on property staff were really nice. I enjoyed the restaurants/bars and club access the hotel provided it was nice. I would highly recommend this for solo girls trips or couples . It was in a good area that was easy to get to a lot of places with the subway being steps away. Also if your looking for a room with a view it is truely worth getting a room here
