Amazing memories.
Pros:

The location is just perfect, Kyoto downtown is 30 seconds walk outside and Kawaramachi station is just a minute walk.

Pros:

This was my first experience staying in a traditional capsule hotel in Japan, and I honestly couldn't have chosen a better place for it.

Since I was traveling with quite a lot of luggage and knew I would also be doing some shopping in Kyoto, I decided to upgrade to one of the private capsule spaces. This was perfect for me because it gave me enough room to organize my belongings without worrying about getting in anyone else's way.

The private space was very comfortable and well designed. It had a separate area with a desk, power outlets, and a mirror, with the capsule itself located right next to it. You can choose between an upper or lower capsule, and I specifically chose the upper one because I wanted the full experience of climbing up into my capsule.

The capsule was surprisingly spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. It had its own TV, power outlets, and lighting controls. Even though this was my first time in a traditional capsule, I never felt confined or claustrophobic at all.

The private area also had a small door at the entrance. It doesn't lock, but I felt completely safe throughout my stay. Everyone was very respectful, and the entire sleeping area was incredibly peaceful. I barely heard any noise at all, which made it very easy to relax and sleep.

The bathroom and shower facilities were another highlight for me. Everything was spacious, modern, extremely clean, and very well equipped. There was a good selection of quality toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, and other amenities, as well as hair dryers. There were different shower areas available, and even the bathrooms had relaxing background music, which was a small detail that I really enjoyed. The whole atmosphere felt calm and thoughtfully designed.

There are also lockers where you can store your belongings and luggage.
