Location is great Except if you miss the hotel it takes a minimum 30-40 minutes to get back to the hotel due to traffic, road closures and construction
I felt being in the basement not as nice as the upper floors so I was disappointed
They made up the couch as a bed and I asked 2 times to return it to the couch and it did not happen
The tv did not work, there was no signal - it was too late to ask since the person on the desk was gone at 10 pm - very unhappy since we wanted to watch world cup games - this was room 53
Great location and the staff texted everyday to make sure we were ok. Anytime I had a question they answered right away and ordered my taxi to the airport for me.
Hervorragendes Zimmer in Top Lage.
Location and spacious, updated room.
Bathroom door.
habitación amplia y equipada
la tienda de café tenía poca variedad de pan
I loved the location and the lift for luggage
No staff after a certain time and the air conditioner didn’t work so they taped a window vented one to the window.
We arrived at 10:50pm and there was supposed to be someone there until 11pm. The key locks didn’t work and spent a hot and tired 30 minutes trying to get someone on the phone to figure it out
Location was awesome
No one there at 10:50pm when we arrived. Someone was supposed to be there until 11. The after hours key system is very confusing and took almost 20 minutes on the phone with someone to figure out how to get in the door. Finally got up to the room and couldn’t figure out the AC. There was only 1 coffee pod and there was “sand” or something in the bathroom
Location is great! Staff are great! The bed is comfortable, and room is nice and clean! Love my stay!
Stairs to the front door which is the worse for luggages.
The Kent House was beautiful and very well appointed and what a perfect location. From our perspective, there isn’t a better place to explore Old Quebec from. For a 200 year old house, they have done a remarkable job modernizing and making it comfortable to stay. A lovely little kitchenette, well appointed bathroom, very comfortable bed, and a little living area to relax and take a drink or a coffee. The staff were all very young but very helpful and spoke English far better than we spoke French. The little cafe downstairs served a few things but the coffee was out of a machine. Not bad, but not the best we had. Certainly did the trick!
OK, this is where the wheels fell off the bus for us. It was 27-29*C while we were visiting in early June and the Air Conditioning was broken. We arrived late the first day, so we didn’t have much choice. We let the staff know and she said, oh yes, a few other guests mentioned that…. Well, it would have been nice to have been told that the air conditioning was not working. They told us they would let us know what was happening and assured us they were working on a repair. Then late in the day (too late to change hotels) we learned that they were waiting on a part. Didn’t sleep well for the second night (they gave us a fan to blow the hot air around) so we contacted booking.com and they contacted the hotel and agreed to refund the remainder of our stay. We moved hotels but it was with regret.
Location
Excellent location. You can park your car across the street in a parking garage. Then walkable. Rooms are beautiful and above expectations.
Nothing to complain
