Pros:

Clean hotel and good value for the money. The beach is only a 3–4 minute walk away, which was very convenient.

Most of the reception staff were not particularly friendly, but the man working the night shift was an exception. He was always smiling, friendly and welcoming, and always greeted the guests. He was also extremely helpful when my phone and wallet were stolen at the beach. He helped us with information and even assisted us in making calls to the police, which we really appreciated.

The food was quite tasty, with a good selection of traditional dishes.

Overall, a good stay, especially considering the location, cleanliness and value for money.

Cons:

Maybe include menus in English? Or hire staff in the restaurant that speaks English? It was quite uncomfortable to explain what we need/want when the people working at the restaurant spoke only Italian.

The owner also doesn’t speak much English. For example, when I asked if she had seen our diaper bag, she misunderstood me and tried to give me a menstrual pad instead 😅 It was an amusing misunderstanding, but it also shows how difficult communication can be when there is no common language.

Another thing I didn’t particularly like was that the staff came to our table several times asking if we had finished eating, even though we were still eating, because they wanted to clear the plates and bring dessert. It felt a little rushed and uncomfortable.

Overall, the experience could be improved with better communication in English and a more relaxed approach during the meal.
