Yes , I stayed at the Lagg , in July 2021 , then it was fabulous , but it’s changed ownership and it’s not as welcoming, the room was fine. The accommodation cost was high for what you got
The food menu was limited , as I had booked for two nights and paid on arrival which was fine , the staff knew I was staying for 2 nights , but the waitress in charge of the restaurant on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 told me “it’s pay as you go. “ meaning their policy is to pay for dinner immediately. In stead of settling up at the end of your stay . I found this attitude unacceptable and not welcoming , other quality hotels on the island do not operate this way , I’m unsure if I will return due to this

Dinner was superb. Service at dinner and breakfast very good. Lounge overlooking gardens was a comfortable place to relax.
