The property was close to a lot of attractions.
The room was quite small. I did not receive the double bed I requested at the time of booking . They were overbooked. The bathroom was partially clean. The front desk staff tried their best to make up for these mistakes, but I think it was still frustrating especially that I booked well in advance.
Obviously in a great location close to Times Square. The hotel has a really cool bar situated on a high number floor that escapes me but the views from there to enjoy a drink with are fantastic. A restaurant on the ground floor was great place to catch a World Cup game and the drink and nachos went down very well. Rooms are ok size wise but you're out all day so not an issue, very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and no hassle.
Lovely room. Not massive but NYC hotel rooms aren't big anyway.
When we booked it said breakfast included.
Shortly before we arrived i received an email from the hotel saying it was breakfast for only 2 out of 4 people who were in my family.

Un temps d’attente énorme pour les ascenseurs. Je pensais que c’était un détail, mais c’est vraiment très long : parfois, il faut attendre 10 minutes ou plus pour avoir son ascenseur.
Réservation pour 4 personnes avec le petit-déjeuner inclus, comme indiqué sur la réservation. En arrivant, on nous indique que le petit-déjeuner n’est inclus que pour deux personnes, alors que nous avons bien réservé pour 4 personnes avec le petit-déjeuner inclus. À 25 ou 30 dollars le petit-déjeuner par personne et par jour, c’est vraiment limite…
À l’arrivée, on nous donne un jeton d’une valeur de 25 dollars, utilisable pour un petit-déjeuner ou un cocktail. Nous décidons de l’utiliser au rooftop de l’hôtel, mais celui-ci n’est pas accepté. On aurait aimé le savoir avant.
Une alarme incendie se déclenche et les haut-parleurs grésillent tellement qu’on n’entend rien. Nous descendons donc en catastrophe par les escaliers (la tour est haute), pour finalement apprendre qu’il s’agit simplement d’un test. On aurait aussi aimé être prévenus, surtout lorsqu’on doit descendre les escaliers avec une cheville tordue… Quel enfer.
Concernant une partie du personnel, notamment celui de l’accueil : vraiment aucun effort pour essayer de dialoguer ou d’aider. Je veux bien que l’on doive parler anglais, mais dans un hôtel international, faire un minimum d’effort et sourire ne devrait pas être si compliqué.
Une bouteille d’eau devait être déposée chaque jour dans la chambre. Il a fallu la demander chaque jour. Même problème pour les serviettes de bain : nous étions 4, mais à chaque fois, il n’y avait que 2 ou 3 serviettes. Nous devions donc systématiquement aller en demander.
Rajoutez à cela 10 minutes d’attente pour descendre et encore 10 minutes pour remonter avec les ascenseurs… L’exaspération peut se comprendre, surtout lorsque les mêmes erreurs se répètent chaque jour.

ארוחת בוקר דלילה ללא ירקות. חלון לא נפתח בחדר. מיטות צרות, לא לאנשים גדולים.
