Great stay
Pros:

The location was perfect for bus, metro and a shortish walk for the train. Local area was great, opposite park. Comfortable beds, nice shower room and access to roof terrace. The customer service was outstanding, as we needed to drop our bags off early morning on our first day and return a camper van to the airport. We were also allowed to leave our bags on the last day as we didn't fly until 10pm. We enjoyed four nights, with good food and drinks. The staff were all polite and friendly, happy to help us with any issues we had eg. where to take excess food donations after travelling 8 weeks, arranging an Uber and always checking if we'd had a good day. Would definitely recommend North Sydney Hotel.

Cons:

Not being able to turn the aircon down below 21c or open the window. A cooler night temperature would have suited us better.

Quiet, convenient and friendly
Pros:

The quiet elegance of the room, and of the shared sitting room, the cleanliness of all bathroom and toilet facilities, proximity to my workplace, friendliness of staff, constantly refreshed breakfast supplies in the kitchen - and the quiet of the room even on a trivia night! Once behind the bedroom door, absolute quiet.

Pros:

The set up for breakfast in the upstairs kitchen/lounge area was perfect for our needs.

Cons:

The cleaners need to use some mould cleaner in the showers. We have stayed at this hotel many times and this is the first time that it has been an issue.

Not a good place to stay
Pros:

Cons:

When my partner just arrived, it was closed already. He got a bedroom which was all right, but shared bathroom and toilet which was not cleaned up properly. They also said included breakfast, but at 8 am everything was closed. Not recommended

Superb central location, stylish renovated rooms, and a great bistro. Convenient and priced right.
Pros:

Rooms are cleaned well daily. Spaces are quiet too.

Pros:

Great location for the start of Sydney marathon. Private bathroom with everything I needed. Comfy bed and excellent shared kitchen/lounge/patio areas. My room was really quiet despite a working pub down below. Good pub meals available also.

Cons:

A little fridge in the room would have been great for pre/post race snacks and drinks. Some aspects of the room were a little tired for the price point.

Pros:

Emplacement pratique pour repartir vers le nord et centre-ville accessible en 30 minutes à pied (passage par le fameux Harbour Bridge avec vue sur l'opéra!).
Chambre joliment décorée, douche agréable, tout est fonctionnel.
Petit déjeuner froid et en libre service mais il y a de quoi faire et le principe est sympathique, ça change des autres hôtels.
Le pub en dessous des chambres sert de bons plats.

Cons:

Matelas un peu mou mais chacun a ses préférences.
