You can pay for parking on arrival as we have a big car park. We have taxi company phone on reception you can book taxi on arrival it costs roughly 15-18£ to Gatwick airport depending on the terminal and luggage.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Near Gatwick, but you get what you pay for.
Pros:

Close to Gatwick. Room was big.

Cons:

We used this hotel as it was close to where I would be leaving my car at Gatwick. I never write reviews and most things don't bother us, it was just a bed for the night, but this isn't a great hotel. Room was big, but there was rubbish in the cupboard from another guest. Iron stains on the floor and generally just not a great room to stay in. Floor in bathroom was dodgy and not great to stand on. Not the hotels fault that there was a fault in the fire alarm system which meant it went off at 1am, but being evacuated at this time wasn't great. The first staff member you speak to (at around 7:30pm) also had a massive food or drink stain on his shirt as you meet him. Not a great look for the hotel. Didn't bother looking round the rest of the hotel, but really you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately no air con and had windows open but was noisy due to being above the reception and people leaving with suitcases.

The grounds

Cons:

I asked a few questions about the area and EV charging, the receptionist was too busy playing with his phone. The bedroom light bulbs behind the bed on one side didn't work. The then top section behind the bed wasn't connected to the wall and I was concerned it was going to fall off. The road going to the hotel was very badly pothole.

Good choice for a 1 night stay to catch a flight
Pros:

Its close to gatwick airport, clean and has the basic amenities you would expect. The room was very large so it was easy to unpack/pack. Plenty of parking. If all you want is a basic room to stay in because you are getting a flight in the morning, this place will do nicely.

Cons:

There were vending machines but they were out of order/unstocked. I suppose it would have been nice if we needed anything during the night.

Warm welcome
Pros:

Very clean and a warm greeting on arrival.
Very convenient parking in the disabled area by the front door. Although didn't have a blue badge.

Staff were good and polite breakfast was excellent very clean room

Cons:

We got a taxi from hotel to airport we were advised it would cost £23 but cost was £33 as we had to pay £10 waiting fee we were not advise of this either by the taxi company or hotel very misleading

Satisfaction compromised by unusable shower
Pros:

Cheaper than other options but that is reflected in the overall ambiance.

Cons:

The shower in my room. was non functional: the temperature controller had broken and the shower ran too hot to use ( in fact dangerously hot). By the time I found this out it was late, and I was not going to get dressed and report this and do what, try to change rooms? And in the morning I was out before anyone was around. It was room 12A. I am sure that this has been reported before so the Hotel knows about it, yet they still use the room. This is not reasonable
