Fantastic!
Pros:

I did not partake of the breakfast. Best part of all was the staff. Front desk and bar could not have been nicer or more helpful and accommodating. Absolute stars.

Cons:

Just a personal note, as a history buff. I had no idea of the interconnections of the hotel having formerly been a jute factory. The ties to Caird Hall, the Discovery/Shackleton, etc., were absolutely fascinating. I just had to dig a little. I love Dundee!

High quality city centre hotel
Pros:

The location was ideal , loved the feel of it with stylish decor. Comfortable bed and very good breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The room was freezing when we arrived due to the air conditioning. Our room only had skylight window so no view out. The fan extractor in the bathroom was not working

​I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Our stay was highly disappointing due to a complete lack of customer service and basic hospitality.

​Room issues left ignored: The bathroom extractor fan was completely broken. I reported it to the reception, but they did absolutely nothing to fix it.

​Disappointing breakfast: We ordered a Full Scottish breakfast to our room, but it arrived incomplete—missing both the toast and the baked beans. On top of that, it was completely unseasoned.

​Deposit nightmare: It has been a week since we checked out, and I still have not received my deposit back.

​The staff here act like robots. There is no personal approach to the guest, and zero basic politeness. Save your money and do not stay here

The location was great. 6 minutes from the bus station. I was a solo traveller and felt safe . There is a little underpass to get to town centre and beyond which felt a little sketchy but fine during the day.

Cons:

The breakfast was underwhelming. No wow factor. Nice surroundings in the restaurant but no scrambled egg or marmalade( in Dundee!) however, the kind waiter brought freshly prepared eggs to my table and marmalade …disaster averted!

Pros:

I liked the environment, and the house keeping.Rooms are clean and neat. Breakfast is very good. I will sleep again anytime I visit Dundee

Cons:

They do not provide guests with water. Again, they took a deposit of GBP50 but I am yet to receive the refund even though I have left to Ghana 🇬🇭.
