Wonderful hotel only slightly let down by lack of air conditioning (or a fully opening window)

The hotel and the friendly staff were all excellent.

Cons:

It was a hot spell when we stayed and the room was very hot, made worse by the only window in the room being a sash window which was restricted (we assume for H&S resons) to only open a very small amount.

Excellent stay in ideal location
Pros:

Excellent large Signature room with very comfortable bed, great shower and air conditioning. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Great location opposite St Mary’s Church.

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing as long waits for ordered food as only 1 chef in kitchen up to 0830. Busy time between 0800 - 0900.
Restaurant meals overpriced for portions.
