Room on top floor a bit dated and basic

There’s nothing I didn’t like 👍

This was for our 52nd wedding anniversary and my wife is practically wheelchair bound. Pictures of the hotel show a wheelchair ramp and was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. The Ramp was sealed off and had not been in use for some time. Staff was not helpful with us. Beds were like separated wooden bunkbeds and where really uncomfortable for a night's sleep. Breakfast experience was average. Booked for a three-night stay but because of the access steps on both sides of the hotel and no wheelchair access we left after only 2 nights. Sorry but not worth the price we paid.

The walls that weren’t painted in the bedroom. Half is one colour- the other half they’ve moved things they’ve filled gaps in the walls and not put a lick of paint over it,
The dirty stained (poss blood) curtains are disgusting- but do hide the view of the flat tops of the kitchen ? Maybe? And the extractor which stinks! This is the single room 102.
The bedside table is behind the bed. It should be next to it! you can’t reach the switch to turn off the light! There no bedside light I did message on booking.com and ask for one - the light it’s a wall light, but it’s a switch is out of reach.
While there’s a small cupboard for clothes there’s no counter to put clothes on.
The small TV (which did work)and has a bracket, sits on the dressing table so if you want to watch it you can’t put anything in the dressing table or you can’t see the TV.
The sink is in the bedroom not in the bathroom. And the glass shelf tilts so you can’t put any bits and bobs on the shelf.
The bathroom is fine.
The room next door has either a sliding wardrobe door or a sliding room door- and you can hear every single time they open the door.
WIFI DOESNT WORK IN THE ROOM!

If I was to stay again (hopefully) I would take earplugs noisy seagulls,not the hotel fault

Very poor quality room. Terrible furniture and room very small. Shower fiixtures in the bathroom had broken bits on them. Cracked basin. Very expensive for the standard of room £270 for 2 nights, and the breakfast was not included. When we tried ringing 3 times in total, to ask about where they could suggest we parked, no one answered. When we arrived at reception 2 staff were just chatting to each other. Please do not stay and pay here unless you see the room first.

Room tired headboard not fixed to bed rubbish found behind side cupboard when trying to fix headboard. Shower innefective.

Just one thing. Only one toaster working at breakfast. A long wait.

Room was not similar to the photos of booking

No AC in the room

No flipflops or bathroom robes

Room service was not available and our room was not made during my 3 days stay

Towels were not replaced

The shower was leaking the the bathroom was flooded

There were no wheel chair access and the main entrance had 7 steps

Reception was fully closed and shutdown on Sunday evening

No fridge in the room

Overall it wasn’t a good experience

The whole property is in need of updating

Generally a bit tatty, bed was a bit wonky so was leaning to one side, no double glazing so any noise outside seemed loud
