Nice family run guest house, room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay.
The hosts were amazing from the moment we walked in the door to when we left. A great breakfast provided.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Parking free as they lend you a permit to park just outside on the main road. Breakfast very tasty and good value. I stayed in a twin room with my friend who was there to support me doing the Great South Run and the hotel was perfectly located on exactly the half way mark so my friend could just pop out to cheer me on and refuel me. The room was really comfortable, as were the beds and bedding. Everything we needed was there and the layout and design of the room, with different sections was great. WiFi was good, tea and coffee making things, a nice big sink, two windows to get some air flow, two radiators and heated hand rail plus two extra heaters/fan as if the rest wasn't enough. Very cute above-bed lamps. We had a lovely stay, perfect location for the seaside and town.
The shower needs replacing as the current one is complicated to control. It works OK but you have to read some lengthy instructions before using it. Everything else was brilliant.
Rahul and his mum were fantastic hosts, and the breakfast is of unbelievably good value and quality. We would definitely recommend staying here as the location is central to most amenities, with plenty of good eating places a short walk away.
Having to leave Portsmouth, we have always liked the place, and because our son is at university here, it gives us an excuse to visit more often, and maybe catch up with him 😁

Loved the location, Greek restaurant few doors up. Short walk to beach and longer walk to gun wharf quay shops and restaurants and also the dockyard and its attractions. Breakfast was superb full English. Host and her son were very welcoming and we sat for ages chatting

Good location and very nice hosts. It was quiet as our room was away from the msin road.

The Pier is close to the old part of the city. Our room was quite spacious and clean. The en-suite bathroom was a bit small, but there was a big wash basin in the room.
The staff was really kind. They give you a permit to park in the street.
We tried the full English breakfast, and it was really nice.
The room was clean great location staff were great only thing was room was a bit small but over all would stay again 🙂
