Would stay again. Breakfast was great and all staff were excellent
Pros:

Beautiful setting and staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful

Cons:

There were cobwebs inside one of the lampshades over one of the single beds and the bedding on the double bed was a bit thick and heavy for the time of year

Nice enough , but when things go wrong...
Pros:

Hotel is nicely located not too far from the main road, and a lovely what must have been farm steading or similar . Nice court yard to park in and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and room functional. Seemed good value compared to other properties in the area, and its hard to find any gems around here without spending London money.

Cons:

Mix up between hotel and booking.com for my second of the 2 nights I was due to stay was a bit disappointing , especially when I was told about it upon arrival rather than letting me know on my way. This meant having to find another hotel for night 2 , although they did offer me the chnace to stay in a caravan and a free dinner.
Still waiting on Booking.com & Hotel resolving this which is disappointing as I would have expected them to react with a better sense of urgency and it would have saved me 30 minutes on the phone yesterday trying to resolve the issue.
