The staff were unhelpful , we arrived later than planned as our plane was 3 hours late. We arrived at the hotel , we had a table booked for 8.30 at the Italian restaurant. We arrived just before 9 pm to find the restaurant closed at 9pm and the restaurant would not serve us. I was amazed a London restaurant would close so early. We were told to go to the cafe , which did burgers and fish and chips .
Staff were unhelpful and quite unfriendly.
I was charged for one night before we arrived then on arrival I was charged for another two nights so 3 nights even though we booked for 2. I spoke to reception and they said money would be refunded but a day later I have been over charged by £1000.
If you use booking.com you are not allowed to use the facilities like the pool etc.
I have never come across that before at any hotel .
Obviously they don’t like booking.com guests
Everything
Nothing
Excellent facilities, gym, spa, restaurants etc
Slightly overpriced and had to pay extra for gym and spa access when booking via booking.com
Room was nice.
Major issues with communications when booking this room on behalf of my colleagues and around payment. limited access to all hotel facilities as a guest did not convey value for money.
customer services was extremely poor.
History
Too big
No Residents area
Good reception and doormen. All the staff were helpful and efficient. The rooms are beautifully decorated and all the little things had been provided. Comfortable bed. Great toiletries.
We had a "cosy" room and had to limbo under the television to get around the bed. The lighting was very low. I had to use my phone torch to see inside the cupboard with the kettle and coffee machine.
The eggs florentine at breakfast were tasteless.
Great location, a really nice vibe from start to finish. Enjoyed the evenings entertainment too!
The room only a blind (which was too short)no curtains so there was a lot of unwanted light coming through.
The vibe of the hotel was really fun - loads going on, live music, lots of options for food and drink. We were part of a wedding party and it was the perfect venue to mingle and get ready. The spa is beautiful and our room was plenty big enough, with so many lovely toiletries and thoughtful touches.
The spa was quite crowded at times meaning there was sometimes nowhere to sit, but not the end of the world. It’s a shame hotel guests can’t access the roof or some of the venues inside the hotel without additional charges. Food and drink prices are high, but to be expected.
Room 345. Location was great, no real view, but as I was there for evenings only it was fine. I had 10 rooms booked and each of my guests were all very happy with their rooms.
Staff were amazing. From the moment we arrived through to checking out. Everyone was friendly helpful and polite and engaged really well with me and my guests.
The hotel is amazing, and the staff were all very welcoming. The whole experience / atmosphere was fantastic. The only downside was the water, the shower was cold, and it took ages for the hot water to flow in. Other than that, a fab hotel!
Water was cold in the shower and took a long time to get hot, I was in a rush so it had to be a cold shower!
