Pros:

Location was great with good access to Restaurants and access to South Brisbane and River. Room was very comfortable.

Cons:

Unfortunately the Hotel lobby was under renovation. So makeshift Bar / Restaurant was less appealing.

Not really family friendly.
Pros:

Clean and comfortable rooms.

Cons:

Not much space for a bigger family even in the interconnecting suite (i.e. no room for 3 kids bags in the double room and the extra space is in the connected king suite but you have to walk through the bedroom to make it there) We ordered room service breakfast but wasn't enjoyed as nowhere for kids to sit and not make a mess with crumbly pastries. Carpark was not available so had to park in the Convention centre carpark and validate ticket at reception each time we went in/out. Pool is freezing

Just a shame about the building that was happening on Ground Floor.
Pros:

The people who worked at the hotel during our stay were friendly and responsive. Very clean room. Housekeeping were fantastic.

Cons:

Major building works were happening on Ground Floor. It would have been good if visitors had been offered a significant discount because of this. With the front foyer and the restaurant out of action we had to walk through a narrow makeshift hallway through a building site, with an odd smell, to get to the breakfast room. It was disappointing. The pool was absolutely freezing. The hotel should consider a heating system so that the pool can be used year round.

Great one night city stay in a clean, luxurious feeling room.

Upgraded to a junior suite which was great for myself, young daughter and mum.
