Pros:

Room a bit tired but clean and comfortable
So handy for Gatwick, very reasonable price and great transfer service/ car storage

I stayed at the lodge which was nice and it was quiet.
Dinner was good, lamb shish.

Relaxing and enjoyable. Excellent stop over point before early morning flight.
Pros:

They should rather do proper set up for the rooms.
Pros:

The environment was cool though

Dated and uncomfortable.
Pros:

There was good wifi throughout.
Everything was clean and tidy.
Fresh towels had been provided.
In room tea and coffee was available.
The room was a reasonable size.
Plenty of parking.

Cons:

My room was in "The Lodge" off to one side of the main building. The carpet in the hallway looked like it had been recycled from a 1980's old man pub. The toilet/shower room was a very odd shape with a tiny sink that couldn't be used to fill the kettle. The shower was initially too cold, then too hot; there was no comfortable middle ground and once heated, wouldn't cool.
The furniture in the room was mismatched and looked like it had been obtained from a car boot sale. There was a doorknob missing from one door of the wardrobe but that was irrelevant as that door could not be opened anyway as there was a bedside set of drawers in the way.
The curtains looked like my 93 year old great aunt had picked them out and were too small for the window.
With the window open, it quickly became apparent it was directly over the cigarette bin and the small of smoke regularly wafted into the room.
The bed. What can I say about the bed? Straight out of the 1970's the bed topper did not match the curtains but was equally disturbing. There was no duvet, just a sheet and blanket (with the topper on top). There were two, slightly lumpy pillows and the bed was firm to say the least. Every spring could be felt.
The art on the walls in my room wasn't awful but looked like it had been bought with the furniture. The art in my collegue's room must have come from the house clearance of an 80 year old spinster from rural Idaho.
From the outside the main building looked reminiscent of a psychiatric hospital and The Lodge looked like it may once have been staff accommodation.
The bar had limited offerings.
