I was truly amazed by the lovely birthday room setup and amenities. Special thanks to Olivia, Eric, Jasmine, Ulya, Caroline, and the entire GRO team for making this special occasion during my stay even more memorable and meaningful.
Talking about the food, every selection was thoughtfully curated and never boring. I genuinely enjoyed every single dish offered. Luxury truly defines itself when the food speaks for itself.

We recently stayed for four nights in the suite and double bedrooms on the 25th floor, and the overall experience was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast was stunning, and the location is extremely convenient, making it easy to get around South Jakarta. From arrival to check‑out, we truly felt welcomed by the entire team. This hotel is definitely my number one choice for our next vacation in South Jakarta.
I visited the Intercontinental at Pondok Indah and used their gym facilities via ClassPass; the equipment available for use was exceptionally extensive, far above general hotel gym standards, and maintained a high degree of cleanliness. The sauna and steam room were comfortable to use, and the shower room was generally spacious. The amenities were well stocked. Lastly, the front-desk receptionist Teguh was both friendly and helpful in explaining how to use the facilities. I look forward to visiting again.

The club lounge is ok . Lintar and other staffs are awesome service.
However the mie goreng is terrible ( too much salt) they said new menu and came out so terrible.

The staff were very friendly from the moment I checked in. The room was clean, and since it was my birthday, they even provided a birthday cake. The service was excellent.
I'll spare you the pleasantries because the InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah certainly spared me theirs.
I am an IHG Ambassador programme member, a Platinum Elite guest, and I booked their King Suite category. I used the spa. I dined across their F&B outlets. I used their transportation. In short, I showed up for this hotel in every way a guest possibly can. The hotel, unfortunately, did not return the favour.
An incident during my stay resulted in damage to my personal clothing. Simple enough to resolve swiftly, if anyone had actually bothered to act. Instead, what I got was radio silence, followed by vague responses, followed by more waiting. The communication from the very first interaction was nothing short of exasperating. No urgency, no ownership, no escalation. Just a guest left hanging while the team apparently worked out whose problem it was.
By the time a Duty Manager finally reached out with an apology, I had already left the country. Read that again. A paying Ambassador guest, in a suite, spending across every outlet, and the hotel couldn't organise a proper response before checkout. The message I eventually received was courteous enough in tone, but "kindly let us know how you would like to proceed" is not service recovery. It is the hotel politely asking the guest to manage the situation on their behalf.
Here's a suggestion: pull up my RevPAG. Look at the total revenue I contributed across rooms, dining, spa, wellness, and transport during this stay alone. Now tell me that the glacial, directionless response I received was acceptable for a guest of that value. I'll wait, though frankly, I've done enough waiting where this hotel is concerned.
I have stayed at IHG properties around the world. I know what this brand is capable of when it gets things right. Jakarta Pondok Indah is not that. The physical product may be there, but the service culture, particularly when things go wrong, is alarmingly absent.
If you are an IHG loyalist considering this property, know that your membership tier and your spend may not buy you the responsiveness you've earned elsewhere. That is not a standard I'm willing to accept, and it shouldn't be one you accept either.
Do better.

Not enough superlatives to describe this hotel. From the moment you walk in, it’s 5*. The people are the best advert, everyone is warm and friendly…💖. It’s real, not forced, the bedroom was spotless and the bed was firm with no sagging, plenty complimentary water, good desk to work at. Lots of decent tv channels. We ate in the buffet restaurant most days and the choice was vast, everything is fresh, nothing looks like it’s been sitting. The maitre’d even gave us a recommendation about where to go, (Kota Tua) when we said we wanted to venture out the hotel on our day off work. Business lounge is top drawer - the hostesses are chatty and personable, the barman makes excellent cocktails and they have a new menu each evening! Everyone knew our names which was amazing considering the amount of people try see each day 🙏 There is also a pool and small terrace area if you want to get outside, which I made use of on the Saturday. I loved my stay at this hotel from start to finish, I couldn’t find a fault, it’s def the place to stay if you’re in Jakarta (and 5 mins walk via the mall to the office of our Italian client, so you don’t have to brave the traffic). Direct access also to the mall, so I popped to the supermarket for some local treats. Poss one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at…. And I travel a lot for work so really appreciate all these personal touches when I’m away from home. Loved loved loved it!
