De lobby en ontbijtruimte zien er prachtig uit, een lust voor het oog. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze (familie)kamer was ruim en licht met een prima bed en ook mooi gedecoreerd al was het een stuk minder uitbundig dan de eerder beschreven ruimtesHet hotel heeft eigen parkeergelegenheid, maar de ingang is vrij smal.

Cons:

De fitnessruimte was regelmatig niet toegankelijk omdat deze in gebruik was bij een personal trainer, maar dat was tevoren aangekondigd. Een minpuntje was verder misschien het geluid van de waterpomp in de kamer.

Good location / friendly staff , room not very clean / bit noisy.
Pros:

Location was great and staff were very helpfull and friendly. Overall a good place to be for a visit to Oxford.

Cons:

Room wasn’t cleaned very well, especially the bathroom (shaving hairs from previous guest, dirty toilet etc). Also no cleaning during a 5 day stay, the bed was made / clean towels were provided and that’s about it. Bit noisy as well, but fine with some earplugs 😊

Pros:

The property was quiet, very carefully decorated in a quirky, really welcoming style, but with modern amenities, the staff were super friendly and it was just a 10-minute bus ride to the centre. Highly recommended!

Cons:

The room was on the ground floor and the walls were thin. Could hear other guests and staff moving about very loudly. It may be less noisy on upper floors

Charming hotel full of character.
Pros:

Very quirky interior but beautifully styled. Super breakfast. Great staff. Parking available. Sweetie jars on the landing a lovely touch.

Cons:

Felt £15 per night parking fee a little pricey.

Lovely hotel in heart of Summertown
Pros:

In Summertown, so don’t need to travel into Oxford city for gorgeous food (Oxtwo) and drinks. Hotel was lovely, staff were great and parking a bonus. Definitely stay there again

Cons:

Our room was a bit lacking; had to ask for lamps and the shower was broken

Very different and comfortable hotel in a great location with car parking available.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and ambience excellent.Staff were very helpful. Great to have a car park.

Good location for short bus ride or walk into the city
Pros:

Quirky hotel. Nice staff. On site parking. Close to bus stop for city center, or a 20-25 min walk. Also just a small walk to a few shops and cafes/restaurants up the road. Very nice beds, linen, pillows.

Cons:

Heavy traffic on the road making it difficult to get cool air in the hot weather in order to sleep. I didn't like parking wasn't included in the room rate.
