The room and location were great. Loved the kitchenette, which is the main reason I booked this hotel. The bed was super comfortable, unlike a lot of hotels I have stayed in.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there as no complimentary breakfast on site. The way the shower door opens only favors thin people. It opens inward, and I was barely able to squeeze in.

We had booked two nights through Booking.com, for 17 and 18 August 2026. Our booking was non-refundable.
Unfortunately, around two months before our stay, at the end of June, Jetstar changed the departure time of one of our flights, forcing us to book an additional night in the location from which we were due to depart and give up one of our nights in Sydney.
We immediately contacted Skye Suites Sydney to explain the situation and ask whether it would be possible to cancel one night of our booking due to this unexpected change. They told us that the decision did not depend on them and that we should contact Booking.com. We contacted Booking.com, who told us that they had no problem with cancelling the night and issuing a refund, but that we needed to ask Skye Suites Sydney to approve it.
We explained to Booking.com that Skye Suites Sydney had told us that the decision regarding the refund depended on Booking.com. As a result, Booking.com contacted Skye Suites Sydney and called them directly while we were on the phone, in order to confirm whether the refund could be processed. However, Skye Suites Sydney stated that, according to their policy, they could not accept the cancellation with a refund.
The whole situation seemed surreal to us, but unfortunately, we had no choice but to accept what we were told.
When we arrived in Sydney to check in at Skye Suites Sydney, we noticed the words “No show” written on our booking. We explained the circumstances, which they should have been fully aware of since we had contacted them about the issue two months earlier, but they simply acted as though nothing had happened.
We explained the entire situation again, and the receptionist in charge told us that their policy did not allow a refund because we had booked through Booking.com and Skye Suites Sydney had already paid the commission to Booking.com.

The staff were beautiful and friendly. The vibe of the hotel was perfect and the bed was super comfortable.

No lounge
The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped, most of the staff were very helpful. 2 chairs for a 2 bedroom apartment that houses up to 4 people isnt really enough
We have stayed at 5star before and did expect someone to take care of our bags, we had to find our own trolley and take it up to our room on arrival and departure. My expectation of valet parking was much different than what we received. The suites also look much better in the photos than in person

Everything was great
Location was amazing, so close to shopping and darling harbour. Accommodation had everything you needed very comfortable and clean. Really happy would defiantly come back again
