We stayed at Yumoto Station Hotel MIRAHAKONE for one night during our trip to Hakone.
The room was nice, clean, and overall very comfortable, although definitely quite small — but that’s pretty normal in Japan 😊 The location is very convenient, especially because it’s close to the train station, which made traveling around Hakone easy.
The only downside for us was a slight humidity/musty smell in the room. Thankfully, we could open the window, so it wasn’t a huge issue for a short stay.
One thing worth knowing: if you arrive late, it may be difficult to find food nearby. We arrived around 8 PM and almost all restaurants were already closed, which was a bit disappointing after a long day of traveling.
Overall, still a pleasant stay for a short visit to Hakone 🇯🇵
