We really liked the design, the location and the intended (original) layout and character of the rooms.

Cons:

* Quality of the furnishings and fixtures
* Poor technical maintenance of the room: sockets in bathroom without cover (15 cm from water tap), door handles and other fittings are partly loose or in poor condition. Numerous stains on the walls and furniture.
* Excessive noise from the external air-conditioning unit - 24/7!
* Broken refrigerator (all frozen)
* No hooks or suitable places to hang towels (in a family room!).
* Very limited storage space for clothing and luggage
* No sofa or armchair.
* Extremely poor sound insulation throughout the building.

Room was clean. Breakfast was good

Cons:

We have stayed in The Anthony many times and were always very happy with the room we got. However this time we were assigned tiny room, where you could not pass each other, no room to put a suitcase, and had to crawl into bed. This is really below the standard that The Anthony typically offers. When we complained about it they said they could not give us another room. There was a larger room available but they wanted 118€ extra per night, instead of offering it for free to a regular guest! They missed the opportunity to turn this into a great experience, and get a bad review instead.

Gute Lage, schlechtes Preisleistungsverhältnis auf dem Familienzimmer mit zu kleiner Toilette.
Cons:

Wenig gemütliches Zimmer, viel zu kleiner Raum für die Toilette! Schlechte Heizungssteuerung im Zimmer. Die Reinigung des Fussbodens während des Frühstückes zur Hauptzeit war unangenehm. Beim frühstücken wurde einiges erst auf Nachfrage nachgefüllt. Dies aber dann sehr zuverlässig und schnell.
