Pros:

Due to construction works internet did not work, but the hotel provided a hotspot to solve the problem. Excellent!

Cons:

Very noisy due to construction works, starting from early morning.

Wonderful stay. Good value for money.
Pros:

The location is just a few minutes away from the airport. Bole ( an upscale neighborhood) is also nearby. A smooth check-in experience helped. The staff is nice and the property is well taken care of and managed by wonderful ladies.

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that their card machine wasn't working and I paid the room rent in USD and was promised change in USD. However, I was returned most of the change in Ethiopian Birr and only a few bucks back in USD and that too after multiple reminders. It wasn't a big issue though.

The breakfast was a bit limited in terms of halal food options though.

Value for money hotel 3km from airport.
Pros:

Rooms great. Staff great.
Reception great.
Location OK.

Cons:

Extra charge for breakfast. In Vast majority of Addis hotels breakfast is included. Dinner at Zola ok not brilliant.
Makiato served in lounge not really a Makiato..more like Nescafé and powdered milk.
Those who do have breakfast. are not impressed.
So the whole catering side needs looking at.

Pros:

this hotel never received the funds I paid to Orbitz. Orbitz did not transfer the money over so therefore my reservation was not good. i had to spend $100 in long distance phone calls to Orbitz from Ethiopia to clear things up. it was late at night and I could not proceed with my reservation until Orbitz cleared it up.
