Nice location and parking, but a lot of niggles with the hotel.

Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Room on the 3rd floor, poor lights as they flashed during the night until we removed the plug. Sink in bathroom kept sticking. Shower screen leaked on the floor as door didn’t fit properly. Had to have the window open to have the air con on, which defeated the object as the proper air con not working. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. No toilet roll holder and no window 8n the bathroom.

Fabulous modern room with aircon, very much needed on the hottest day of the year!! Excellent breakfast and ideally located with very accessible parking.

Excellent stay at The Tilman in Barmouth
Pros:

The Tilman offers a real surprise! On arrival It looks like a very traditional,and very popular, Welsh pub but the bedrooms are anything but traditional - very contemporary with a real eye for design, wet room,comfy bed, lots of nice touches.Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast served in the bar

Cons:

Apart from breakfast which was excellent the only food the Tilman offers is a wide range of burgers.Very tasty but a wider choice of food would be nice so avoiding the need to dine elsewhere!

Perfect spot in a lovely part of Wales,
Pros:

Clean, spacious & quiet, despite being on the Main Street it was the perfect spot, handy for bars, restaurants, shopping & the beach. A short walk to the railway station (5mins).

Cons:

A mini fridge would have been perfect, especially as it was so hot,

Central Barmouth location, with a classy boutique hotel vibe.
Pros:

Central location with secure adjacent parking. Excellent breakfast, and good welcome. Room facilities were excellent, the bed was comfy, and we enjoyed a quiet night's sleep.

Cons:

The stairs were a little tricky with handrail only on one side.
