Pros:

We really liked the location, which was convenient for getting around and enjoying the area.

The shower was also good, with great water pressure, and we appreciated having a bidet in the bathroom.

We appreciated that the hotel offered some savoury breakfast options, however limited. Some hotels just offer sweet breakfast (croissants).

We also appreciated that, on the morning of our departure, they kindly served us breakfast earlier than their usual breakfast hours because we had an early flight.

The staff were helpful in several practical ways. They called different taxi companies to find one offering a reasonable fare to Rimini Airport, helping us avoid being overcharged.

They also contacted several lidos that Ambra has agreements with to ask whether our family members, who were staying at another hotel, could join us at the same rate we agreed for hotel guests. Although our family ultimately chose a different lido because they had other relatives staying there, we really appreciated the effort and thoughtfulness.

We also liked that the hotel provides bicycles free of charge for guests to use for a few hours, which was a nice added benefit.

Cons:

The breakfast could be improved. The scrambled eggs were consistently overcooked and dry; as someone who really enjoys scrambled eggs, I would have appreciated them being properly mixed raw first, then cooked and left with some moisture. There were fruits, which was good, but no vegetables and limited savoury options. My partner doesn't eat pork, and the only cold meat option was ham. There was also a lack of cheese choices.

The mattress was hard and not to our preference, and it caused me some sciatic discomfort.

We lost the key for one bicycle lock. We accept that this was our mistake, but usually these locks come with 2 keys and you would expect the hotel to have a copy. One of of the owners (father) was very kind and told us not to worry. However, his daughter later charged us €10 for a replacement lock. We bought a good-quality lock instead with two keys for €6, which the hotel kindly accepted.

Although we stayed in summer, we would have appreciated an additional light duvet to cover ourselves rather than just the sheets. The thin bedspread provided looked suspicious (usually hotels don't wash those). When we asked for something else, we were told to turn up the air conditioning or use the bedspread (as if we didn't know we had these options). The owner (daughter) made us feel uncomfortable/inappropriate for asking.

We also found the greetings a little excessive. The repeated loud “buongiorno/buonasera ragazzi” from different parts of the hotel felt somewhat forced and made us feel overly observed. A more casual approach would have felt more natural.

Finally, after our stay we initially left a rating of 6 without going into detail. The hotel contacted us with a message saying what they have done well and asking us to delete it. They also said we bought a cheap Chinese lock that broke after the first use, which I knew then was not true and out of spite. I did reconsider the review and I'm providing a detailed fair feedback.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolut empfehlenswert – herzliche Gastfreundschaft!
Wir haben uns in diesem familiengeführten Hotel von Anfang an sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Besonders schön war die herzliche und persönliche Atmosphäre. Der Senior des Hauses hat uns immer freundlich begrüßt, und auch seine Tochter und die ganze Familie waren jederzeit sehr nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man merkt einfach, dass dieses Hotel mit viel Herz geführt wird.
Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber und gepflegt, und auch das Frühstück war jeden Morgen sehr gut. Wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben, war immer jemand hilfsbereit und für uns da. Besonders praktisch war auch, dass wir Fahrräder vom Hotel bekommen konnten.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Ein tolles, familiäres Hotel mit wunderbaren Gastgebern, das wir von Herzen weiterempfehlen können. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Nur zum empfehlen
Pros:

Hi,wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden, auch mit dem Zimmer, auch mit dem Personal, eine sehr nette und freundliche Familie, Frühstück war auch super und mehr als ausreichend, den Strand ist in 2 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir werden es wieder kommen und auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Pros:

L' hotel è gestito da una famiglia meravigliosa sempre disponibili e gentili,la nostra stanza era molto accogliente e aveva un comodo terrazzo.Ogni mattina passavano a pulire e cambiare gli asciugamani. La colazione era abbondante e ogni mattina c'erano delle buonissime torte fatte in casa. L'hotel dispone di convenzioni con pizzerie, ristoranti e bagni che ci hanno fatto risparmiare qualche soldino!
La loro ospitalità ci è rimasta nel cuore ❤️
