Consigliato per una notte o due a Reykjavik, vicino al centro e al mare.
Pros:

Prima tappa del nostro road-trip. Hotel con parcheggio situato in una zona semi-industriale non molto affascinante ma ha il merito di essere tranquillo, vicino al supermercato Bonus (top!) e a una decina di minuti a piedi dal centro di Reykjavik e del lungomare. Pulito, buoni letti e cuscini, camera calda, sala da bagno piccolina ma tutto funzionante, TV satellitare, Wi-Fi. Buona colazione completa "internazionale", vari tipi buoni di pane, acqua calda a disposizione, staff gentile, a disposizione per dare informazioni e mappa della capitale. Abbiamo pagato 190.00 euro (settembre) e sinceramente, visto i prezzi applicati in Islanda, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo!

Good value for money!
Pros:

The included breakfast was good and varied; there was a large game room for socializing, which was convenient for the end of the day. A small local cake was served daily at 5 p.m., along with unlimited coffee and tea available at any time. The room was clean and pleasant, though a bit small for four adults. The location was also excellent.

Cons:

Oh, how can I put this... the hot water smelled of sulfur, so it was very unpleasant. It’s a 3-star hotel, so you shouldn't expect high-end luxury in the rooms.

Buon 3 stelle
Pros:

Ottimo 3 stelle, comodo al centro città raggiungibile a piedi in 10/15 minuti. Camere spaziose e pulite, ottima colazione. Perfetto il rapporto qualità prezzo, inoltre l'hotel è dotato di parcheggio gratuito.

Pros:

Es gab rund um die Uhr Kaffee und Tee. Die Innenstadt ist in ca. 25min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Es gab ein Spielzimmer mit einer Tischtennisplatte, 4 Gewinnt und einem sehr speziellen "Dartspiel" und ein Klavier war ebenfalls vorhanden.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr abgewohnt. Die Betten waren unbequem und die sehr laute Absaugung im winzigen und altem Bad lief 24/7 und das in einer nicht erträglichen Lautstärke. Der Duschvorhang (ein 4,99€ Modell von Jysk) klebt die ganze Zeit beim Duschen an der Haut. Das Thermostat in der Dusche entscheidet während des duschens selber welche Temperatur aus der Brause kommt. Bei ca. 100°C heißem Wasser sehr uncool. Bis auf einen Mitarbeiter ziehen alle anderen Mitarbeiterinnen ein Gesicht wie 10 Tage Dauerregen. Da wäre mal ein Lächeln angebracht, dann hätte der Gast nicht das Gefühl er wäre nicht willkommen. Die Zimmertür muss man immer absperren, da sie sonst von außen und innen jederzeit aufzumachen geht. Die Steckdosen und Lichtschalter entsprechen keinerlei aktueller Norm und sind teilweise Lebensgefährlich wenn man mit kleinen Kindern anreist. Das Frühstück war vorhanden. Mehr kann man zu dem Angebotenen nicht sagen. Zu dem ganzen negativen muss man aber ehrlicherweise sagen, dass man sonst wohl nirgends in Reykjavík ein Hotel für 4 Personen und 3 Nächte inklusive Frühstück für 500€ bekommt.
