Cleanliness was not up to our expectations, photos online were misleading of the actual state of the room.
Visited the Cicilia Saigon Centre as our last stop travelling in Vietnam. When you walk through the doors the hotel seems very good, nice decor, however after the first impression it’s downhill all the way.
Given our first room which was on a corner, extremely small, had been travelling since 3am and was shattered had to wait until 1:30 to access the room. The room was extremely small and could only get in and out at one side! The curtains were hanging down from the track on one side, it was definitely not the cleanest either but the bed was clean (thank goodness) We tried to get some rest but there were other guests children shouting and screaming constantly slamming doors. We left it for half an hour then had to go down to complain and the staff had a word with them but unfortunately it continued for another hour and in the end asked to move rooms due to the noise and standard of the room! The reception staff were fantastic and was very accommodating and they moved us to a temporary quiet room for one night before being given an upgrade to a superior room which was permanent from our second day.
The hotel seems to cater for Indian guests first and foremost , breakfast is very poor, the rooms are dated and not the cleanest to be honest very poor standard of accommodation! Definitely and wholeheartedly WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
However, I can’t praise the reception staff enough for their kindness and understanding and in particular Vinh who sorted our issue with empathy and understanding so a big shout out to them. Thank you. 🥰🥰
Easy stay, free breakfast! Would come again
Die Lage war ganz ok, man kann den Markt und das Zentrum zu Fuss erreichen.
Das Gym ist schlecht ausgestattet und wurde während meines Besuches auch als Abstellkammer benutzt.
We booked 5 Suits for 16 people, but they did not provide an extra bed for one room, even though we requested it *and we already paid for it.
Additionally, hotel staff were not friendly and seemed rude to customers.
But the best thing was, hotel was aligned with an Indian restaurant, that was great.
Quite close to Ben Thanh market and other attractions
Next to busy and noisy street
The room was spacious, functional and comfortable, although it would have been better if there were bag stands so that cases could be placed on them for easier access to clothing, also the shower had a main shower head that had a light flow but only luke warm water coming out of it, but the hand held on had strong flow and hot water and could not be secured into one spot without working loose, I suggest that this be reversed, also the bar fridge would not keep anything cold as its position is tucked away in a cupboard and it generates a lot of heat.
The front of house staff had difficulty understanding English with one exception being Vin, who was the senior man and knew exactly what you needed, it was unfortunate that the others struggle to do the same, willing but not exactly able.
The biggest disappointment is the buffet breakfast, this is by far the worst I have ever experienced in my travels around the world, there is little available to the western guest, on every occasion that I went into that area, there were either no glasses, plates, forks , or spoons available, there was often no milk, or coffee in the pots, and when the staff were approached to correct this they seems disinterested and felt that it was an inconvenient for them to be bothered to do the very job they are being paid to do, I had to get the egg station guy off his mobile phone long enough to get him to cook my eggs, which is not good enough, and then try and find a table that sat flat and level on the floor and didn't rock as you tried to eat, not an easy task, good luck if you have the bad luck of having breakfast in the part of the hotel, which is generally good in other departments, the hotel is in a great location if you want to be among the action that is Saigon.
average hotel and basic ameneties were also missing. please do not book this hotel , please avoid avoid avoid. plenty of good hotels near by.
On arrival, the room assigned to us had a terrible damp smell. Bathroom and toilet was like part of the room, with wash basin not far from the bed. However, we were quickly moved to a better room. Hotel not far from the beach, but no other attractions around. Staff very friendly. Hotel very neat and clean.
Location is near the tourist market, with lots of shops a walk away. Rooms were clean and comfortable with appropriate amenities. Good value for money with decent WiFi. No noise no struggle to sleep.
Lovely location. Near to markets , convenient stores.
Great service by reception Vinh . Very friendly and helpful
Service by Thao at breakfast was great. Very friendly and pleasant person .
Mish in House keeping was on the ball with his service.
Overall good service
The location was the only thing going for the hotel. Staff were helpful.
A lot! Rooms were not well planned or designed. No bed side lights, no hairdryer dryer, shower grout on the walls, carpet in communal areas were dirty. Construction in room across the way from my room. Breakfast was the worst we had in Vietnam.
Staff was nice
The room I received was very different from what I booked. I had reserved a room with a round bed and a specific layout shown on Booking.com, but the actual room did not match the description, and I was not informed of any changes prior to arrival. Additionally, the bed, chairs, and towels had visible stains and hairs, which made the stay uncomfortable and disappointing.
Waste of a property.. the rooms advertised doesnt even come close to the actual situation. Untidy, smelly and very small.
False and fraud. When confronted the staff said openly wont give anything and were extremely rude and were shouting all the time. Left the hotel, 0% recommended
The hotel room was okay and kept clean but the hotel needs a renovation. Hallway is stinky, personnel not overly friendly and the breakfast definitely subpar for a 4 star hotel. Busy location near traffic roundabout and school, but central location.
This is not a 4 star hotel! It is run down and in need of renovation, but the staff is also very 3 star. I do not recommend staying here. The breakfast is also a very low quality.
Location and their Indian restaurant which serves only lunch and dinner
Very small rooms, there is no feeling of a 4 star property, no lock in the toilet doors, AC doesn’t cool properly
