Die Lage ist traumhaft. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und professionell. Besonders hat mir gefallen das man sich darum kümmert das Tuk Tuks geordert werden. Das Essen war auch gut und die Unterkunft sauber.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft ist nicht so einfach zu finden. Schilder wären nützlich oder vielleicht etwas mehr Details wie man die Unterkunft findet. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu reklamieren. Wirklich wundervolle Unterkunft

We stayed here as we were mislead that the location is great right next to El Piedro. Eventhough technically it is, you have to exit from the front road which is a 10 minute walk downhill, then a half an hour walk all the way back up a very steep hill. The instructions on how to get to the property is unclear, just a link on google maps which is incorrect and says you can access the hotel from the back of the property so we climbed all the way up and then had to come all the way down and then all the way up within the property with our heavy bags. You always arrive hot and sweaty to the cabana but there is no aircon to cool down. We were then informed that the restaurant was closed on our arrival that day and there are no good options around or on delivery so we had to go into town. You are much better off staying in Guatape then getting a car straight to the entrance which you want to go to El Peiedro which is only a 10 minute drive as we felt like we were constantly going back and forth rather than enjoying our stay. The Chivas also can't make it up the hill with any passengers so you get dropped off at the bottom on the road and have to make the trek up each time. They really need a back entrance or to update google maps and a shuttle service within the property, particularly for luggage. If they are going to make you walk up the hill, they need aircon to help you cool down. Don't be mislead by the location like we did.

Visita de dos turistas costarricenses al Hotel Zócalo Campestre
Pros:

En definitiva el desayuno servido en el hotel y la amabilidad de las personas en la cocina y en el servico es encomiable; tienen don de gente y son altamente atentos. Con respecto a la Piedra del Peñol, estón justo a la par de esta atracción y en menos de 10 minutos se llega al centro del pueblo en un tuk tuk. Por su ubicación, este hotel tiene vistas hermosas del embalse y de la Piedra del Peñol.

Cons:

En relación precio/habitación, nos llamó mucho la atención que el baño, a pesar de no contar con un fuga aparente de agua, el piso permanecía siempre mojado. Uno que está acostumbrado a quitarse el calzado y caminar en calcetines, el mojarse los pies fue extraño. Por otro lado, el uso de la televisión fue "un dolor de cabeza" por el uso de dos controles: uno para la caja de cable y otro para el TV; fácilmente uno se perdía dentro de las opciones del aparato. Al final, mi esposa encontró como usar YouTube y eso fue lo que terminamos viendo. :-(
