Lovely stay with great views

Fabulous location looking over the harbour with a short walk into town.

Gute Lage und Frühstück, aber Lärm und Zimmermängel.
Pros:

Das Hotel hat einige klare Stärken. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal. Sowohl die Mitarbeiter beim Frühstück als auch das Reinigungspersonal waren ausnahmslos äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Auch der Parkservice war stets bemüht, sehr nett und immer für ein kurzes freundliches Gespräch zu haben.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut und bot insbesondere für Gäste mit Glutenunverträglichkeit eine erfreulich große Auswahl an glutenfreien Produkten.
Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die zentrale Lage in Porto Azzurro. Das Ortszentrum ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, sodass man das Auto problemlos stehen lassen kann.
Außerdem war die Zimmerreinigung außergewöhnlich gründlich. In Bezug auf Sauberkeit habe ich selten ein Hotel erlebt, in dem so genau gearbeitet wurde.

Cons:

Leider gab es auch einige Mängel, die den Aufenthalt deutlich beeinträchtigt haben.
Im Zimmer befanden sich Ameisen, die teilweise sogar im Bett zu finden waren. Zudem war der Wasserhahn defekt, da kaum kaltes Wasser herauskam.
Der Straßenlärm war äußerst belastend. Bereits ab etwa 5:30 Uhr morgens bis spät in die Nacht herrschte nahezu durchgehend Verkehr. Auf dem Balkon vergingen oft keine 30 Sekunden ohne vorbeifahrendes Auto, teilweise kam alle paar Sekunden ein Fahrzeug vorbei. Dadurch war es kaum möglich, die Außenbereiche entspannt zu nutzen.
Zusätzlich brannte die Beleuchtung auf den Gängen und am Balkon die ganze Nacht und schien durch die Tür ins Zimmer, was den Schlaf zusätzlich beeinträchtigte.
Der Pool war so stark gechlort, dass Baden kaum angenehm möglich war. Auch dort machte der starke Straßenlärm eine entspannte Atmosphäre praktisch unmöglich.
Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und Wärme auf den Fluren vor den Zimmern. Offenbar wirkt sich der Spa-Bereich auf diesen Bereich aus, wodurch ein dauerhaft feucht-heißes und unangenehmes Klima entsteht.
Der Zustand des Zimmers entsprach insgesamt nicht den Erwartungen an ein Hotel dieser Kategorie. Der Türrahmen war teilweise herausgefallen, am Wasserhahn fehlte eine Abdeckung, mehrere Leisten waren beschädigt und zwischen Boden und Sockelleisten befanden sich kleine Öffnungen, durch die vermutlich die Ameisen ins Zimmer gelangten. Zudem empfand ich das Zimmer als recht klein.

Un’esperienza fantastica
Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato nella Villa Belvedere distante qualche centinaio di metri dall’hotel in posizione fantastica e affacciata proprio sulla spiaggetta di Porto Azzurro in pieno centro. La casa è splendida e pulitissima, con tutti i servizi alberghieri: uso della piscina, colazione in hotel, pulizia giornaliera con cambio della biancheria. Personale gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione. Per rapporto qualità prezzo uno dei migliori soggiorni di sempre. Complimenti vivissimi, quando ritorneremo all’Isola d’Elba sapremo già dove prenotare.

Wunderschön und bestens geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Touren auf der gesamten Insel
Pros:

Die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war fantastisch. Wir haben über die gesamte Bucht von Porto Azzurro schauen können. Hat zu jeder Tageszeit Spaß gemacht. Der Frühstücksraum und die Außenterrasse zum Frühstücken liegen hervorragend um bereits morgens über die gesamte Bucht und Küste schauen zu können. Der deutschsprachige Oberkellner war außergewöhnlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vielseitig und Boot für jeden eine ausreichend große Auswahl. Eier Speisen jeglicher Art konnten direkt am Tisch bestellt werden. Genauso wie frische Kaffee Getränke.

Cons:

Der einzige Minuspunkt ist der Weg vom Hotel in den Ort. Hier muss man circa 200 m direkt an der viel befahrenen Hauptstraße entlang gehen. Bei der Fahrweise viele Autofahrer ist das etwas abenteuerlich.

Great views and location, but inconsistent service and guest comfort let down what could have been an excellent stay.

Excellent location just a 5-minute walk to Porto Azzurro, beautiful sea views, a very comfortable bed, and friendly, professional dining staff. Special mention to the gentleman in the car park who greeted us warmly every day.

Cons:

Reception staff were rushed and unhelpful on arrival. The hotel was very humid, especially in the common areas and dining room. Housekeeping started around 8:00 am with loud doors, making it difficult to sleep, and our room above the road was quite noisy. Basic amenities like hair conditioner were unavailable.

Pros:

Snídaně byly perfektní, vše čerstvé možnost si nechat naservírovat vejce na deset způsobu, čerstvé pečivo a ovoce, palačinky, zdravá výživa - každý si přijde na své. Možná jen chybělo více zeleniny, spíše byly k dispozici rajčata a občas okurka, ale další druhy zeleniny hotel na snídani nenabízel v sezoně v červenci. Snídaně i večeře se odehrávají na krásné terase s fantastickým výhledem do malého zálivu, kde kotví lodě místních a jachty návštěvníků. Personál milý, ochotný a vždy připraven Vám se vším pomoci. Co jsme ocenili je to, že Vás odvezou na smluvní pláž Lido a máte slevu i na slunečníky a lehátka. bydleli jsme v apartmánu mimo hotel se psem a vždy se nám vyšli se vším vstříc jako je například čas úklidu, kdy jsme potřebovali atp.

Cons:

Jediné co mohu vytknout je fakt, že hotel má poměrně malé parkoviště, kdy při parkování méně zkušení řidiči mohou mít problém. Zajištěné to ma hotel vsak tak, ze je vždy přítomen jeden z personálu a pomáhají lidem v tomto ohledu, nicméně se nám stalo to, ze nám do zaparkovaného vozu někdo narazil a způsobil nám škodu. Verim, ze v době, kdy tam zřejmě nikdo nebyl z personálu. Když jsem to vsak chtěl řešit, jako nehodu, zavolat policii nebo mít kamerový záznam kdo to způsobil, tak nám bylovysvetteno, ze policie zřejmě nepřijede a ze kamerový záznam nemají, neřešili jsme toto Dale a musíme si to vyřešit doma. Což trochu pro jinak všem skvělém zanechalo malý negativní zážitek.
