Newton hotel, Hayling Island
Pros:

The welcome & warmth of the staff.
This hotel I had booked on the wrong dates. They not only didn't charge us. But upgraded our room free of charge .
Due to the Cancer issue I am dealing with at the moment.

Cons:

Nothing to not like in my opinion

Nice welcoming family run hotel. Pleasant atmosphere.
Pros:

The atmosphere and the staff. We liked the small family run hotel it was just the right size. The well maintained gardens. The extras that you got in the restaurant such as bread rolls and proper table cloths.

Cons:

The bathroom was really tiny in one of our rooms. The rooms facing the garden in the ground floor annexe can be a bit noisy if there’s something going on in the bar / function rooms. Room was quite bright due to outside lights.

Pros:

Very friendly staff, live music in the garden when we arrived and lovely and sunny so a wine and a pint from the bar complimented the afternoon 😃

Cons:

The room was the bridle sweet which was lovely and the cooked full English breakfast went down well before we left. The staff were amazing here too. We only had 1 night before getting the ferry to the Isle of Wight but will definitely stay again but for longer.

Good value for price we paid and location was where we needed to be
Pros:

Grounds and location
Evening meals were excellent

Cons:

Noise from other guests letting doors with self closers slam at all hours
We stayed four nights and room was only serviced once.
Stayed here before a few years ago and it was really lovely…this time it had more of a feel of a pub with rooms rather than a hotel.
